im a republican, but i vote for whoever i think will do the best job. i am pro union, so im sure that tells you a lot about what i look for in a candidate.

from what i have seen and heard of the democrats trying to run, i havent been impressed.

I believe there is a Democrat out there who could win. Unfortunately for Democrats none of the guys running is him.

I think a Democrat would have a much better chance of winning if they would stop hoping President Bush fails. That drives away a lot of the voters. I know a lot of people who are tired of Democrats ripping on the President, including me. They call him dumb but have never met the guy and have no idea what he is really like.

You would think that Democrats would understand the whole "don't judge a book by it's cover" thing but I guess they don't.

What makes you think they 'hope he fails'. Never heard anyone say that. And of course they have to criticize him, they're running to replace him. If there's nothing to criticize then why bother running to replace him?

Plenty of Republicans rip on the President as well. Heard McCain lately?

-210 for republicans. Starting to wish I would have gotten in at -167. Wait tell Kerry( or whomever ) nominates a VP candidate and press and polls may start to see a decent race. Hopefully line will drop to -150 this summer.
