LOL! Ok I'm in.

Way cool.

Gotta learn to use this remote now and the OnDemand.
Do you HAVE to have the wirelass N adapter to view the OnDemand? I picked one up today but am wondering why it's a nessessity.

Watching the Masters on a 55' Mitsubishi.

Can't wait for the Wings game tonight. And the NHL playoffs.

click on channel 702 703 704 705..Masters coverage in addition to the network and alot of times showing action while network is at commercial..way cool!!

The OnDemand is just the cherry on top and not really necessary but you need the complete package..

Surprised your tech did not program your remote. It is easy but you can call csr and they will walk you through it. Have them program it in RF (radio frequency)

enjoy!!! and yes you need the wireless adapter for OnDemand or if your modem is close you can run a wire from the modem directly into the DVR

The tech DID program my remote. He or I just did'nt have the time to hook up the gaming box. We both had places to be. I'm just curious as to weather I really need it or not. Cant I just tune to 1000 and pick out the programs from there with my remote? What's the wireless all about?

If you click to 1000 there will be nothing to select. The menu and shows comes from the interent. What it actually does is when you select a show or movie to watch it downloads the program from the internet to your DVR and you can watch whenever you want. So if you have no interent nothing can download. For $80you have to get it.

oK..It just clicked after I typed that. It's all hooked up now and downloading.

Hey thanks again dude. I owe you a beer sometime.

And just to let you know...my tech that came to the house.. just a kid..24, when I told him these new dishes could fix my problem he shook his head and told me no way. He hadn't heard anything about what these new dishes could do. Just that they were new and the snow wouldn't stick to them. [I'm in Michigan] I let him read our thread and he was like....dumbfounded. When he lined up the dish and it was no longer in the line of the trees he was yelling to me....Hey dude....you got a clear path..not a tree in line! I was at my neighbors watching him and laughing. He was as suprised as were were.

Red Wings in 30 minutes!

No problem. That is the beauty of the RX. I have had many posters help me over the years.

The tech I had said DTV has a lot of boob installers who do not know what they are doing. If one says no, call again and get another tech for a second opinion. Hope you enjoyed the game (even though they lost :>(). Life is much better in HD!

Take care and enjoy the easter weekend.

This OnDemand on DTV aint shit. I could really live without it. I got the box now and am not taking it back and there's no monthly fee's but......I have to say I'm disappointed. They don't have the contract to show any HBO or Cinemax on OnDemand or anything of the Food network. What a joke.
