Most QBs after a failed drive go to the bench and look at the tablet to see what defense they were using, maybe even talk with the WRs or O-line...

What's Cam do?

He sits on the bench, puts a towel over his head, and thinks about what outfit he's going to wear in the press conference

But to answer your question, maybe... but the dude was tough to tackle at his size, defenses were just trying to make sure they get him down most of the time, and some of those hits he took, he brought it on himself with his antics

Yes

He would have made much more money in the private sectors with us

The league, and Auburn, kept him out of jail for a few years as he was a criminal before landing with the Tigers. He should fade away and count his money.

How come they werent flagging his helmet to helmet hits tho? He might have made himself a target with his trash talk but what does that have to do with the enforcing the rules?

Theres been a few changes to the rules but helmet to helmet hits were illegal in 2015 too they even said it in that youtube video and an internet search shows many ppl questioning the lack of the calls by the refs and it wasnt just that game

That whole season Cam got plastered over and over, Panthers as an organization should have done more to protect him tbh robert kraft would have thrown the kitchen sink at the NFL if that happened to brady

I assume you mean Cam Newton failed the NFL?
In a way he did, he didnt tailor his style of play to what was going on around him... he was a really good QB its sad to see his rapid decline into obscurity after being such a phenomenal talent

I think defenders were allowed to hit Cam harder and / or later, but he also delivered those hits

I remember seeing some replays where I was surprised the defender didn't get flagged

Will be interesting to watch Josh Allen and his treatment

If the QB is willing to deliver blows, can a defender really pull back? IDK

Thats a good point, maybe they didnt call it bc of the way cams running style was. He wasnt afraid toower his helmet and get physical either so that is a valid point too
