elmer--The main reason that you are up now is since the All-Star break there have been 5 weeks worth of chalk. Before that you would not have done so good, and I'm sure the chalk streak won't continue either. I don't want to see anyone lose money, but DickyW is right about laying that big chalk. Sooner or later it catches up to you. GL.

If you were my customer my only concern would be you withdrawing your winnings and moving to another out. A man with nearly 30 years of capping under his belt certainly knows playing multiple -.5 -170 games plays right into the bookies hands. If you go 1-1 or 2-2 you lose a nice chunk of money, if I go 1-1 or 2-2 I show a profit, understand?
The type of player that worries me is the one who takes +.5 +150. If this type of player gets hot it is alot harder to recover my losses, not to mention a book never wants a player for a partner.
I don't mean to insult you but your plays are square and represent a opportunity for me to make money. Over the longhaul I will bust you, your money mgt is weak and your plays represent no LONGTERM value

Dicky...I'm curious... do you regard favorite players in baseball the same way....or is there an ocasional sharp baseball bettor who plays mostly favorites

Ger379-
Good question, intersting because the tie in hockey hits the -.5 player bigtime. And Dicky, in responding to GER, where do you draw the line in laying odds in baseball?

I never liked betting baseball so I don't want to pretend to know alot. From the booking side I do think you will go broke just as fast betting +250 dogs as you would laying -300 favorites.
IMO The toughest players to beat bet run lines more then straight sides, usually taking the 1.5 and laying a price. Personaly when I do make a play I look at a more reasonable dog something in the +120, +140 range +140 being my cutoff.
Now days it seems baseball bettors are more into scalping and picking of soft RL and totals then actualy gambling

Thanks Dicky,
I know zilch about hockey but I've never bought into the baseball betting mantra that the only way to win is to play dogs....one just has to understand what the breakeven win pct required is at every price you lay

how long does he have to stay hot for you to start worrying? and in hockey, how much is that half a goal usually worth?

Barty

Depends on his bet ammount and if the number moves after he bets it. If I have 30 plays and 2 dimes on Washington -5 -150 and you come in and grab Chicago +.5 +130 for 3 dimes and it closes +5 +120 I will consider you a player that needs to be looked at.

What bullshit? Do you consider someone that lays -5 -150 sharp?

when are you gonna stop runnin your yap,& book my plays??

For someone who is 24-5 you sure act like a child. Your 24-5 so why do you feel you still have something to prove?

30 years my ass!! the way you act I doubt your 30yrs old CUNTFACE!!!!

Honestly, your better off playing at Pinn better vig thus better value, and since you obviously don't shop I doubt I would be any use to you. You may find this hard to believe but beating you would not be a big highlite in my life, and nothing worth pounding my chest over. Even if you busted out it would excite me about as much as a morning shit.

Good luck buddy

OK Elmer
Yes I am backing down. You are a far supperior capper and your action is not welcomed. You win too much your plays are to sharp and I doubt we have the funds to pay you.
