i figure may is a good time to start posting plays....as always i suspect 1-2 0-3 first day but hopefully winners by the end of the month. - sometimes i write like i know what i am saying so feel free to point out where i am totally wrong...it`s the only i learn.
England Championship Playoffs
Cardiff v West Ham
West Ham Draw No Bet aka pick -133 - 1.33 to win 1 unit
i think west ham win the tie but i could see a draw here and win it at home. Both clubs ended the year on high notes. West Ham 1 loss in their last 18 and Cardiff 1 loss in their last 12. They did lose 2-0 to west ham at home prior to their streak. West Ham was a bit more impressive wins during this spell including 4-1 to Blackpool, 2-0 to Cardiff, and 1-2 to Leicester. Cardiff with 1 win and 7 draws in their last 8 home matches and whereas west ham 5 wins and 3 draws in their last 8 road matches. So it seems cardiff was playing for draws to secure this playoff spot while West Ham was going for the top 2 spots and automatic promotion. Teams that play not to lose rarely come out on top in this home and home 2 leg affairs. Being leg 1 and west ham probably not too concern about a draw i would only take the draw no bet aka pick line here. Those riskier gamblers might consider the draw here...but to me West Ham is playing slightly better and really should be the team that gets promoted and it all starts here today, 0-1 west ham and 2-0 at home and cardiff out of the EPL 2 years in a row.
Denmark Super Ligaen
Horsens v SonderjyskE
SonderjyskE pick +125 - 0.80 to win 1 unit
Sonder 7 straight league games without a loss including road wins vs Aarhus, Aalborg and Lyngby. Very impressive cup matches vs leaders Copenhagen in which they came up short. Horsens is in the final of the cup and it seems their league play is hurting in the effort to win the cup. Losing to Koge and Copenhagen and drawing to Lyngby in 3 of their last 4 matches. By reaching the final and Copenhagen top 2 guarnteed, Horsens will be in the EUROPA league next season no matter where they finish in the league. (at least that is my understanding) Sonder. needs to make up a lot of ground to have any shot and a win here would be big. Their recent play shows me they are serious about making a run although Cup Final isn`t til the 17th I think Horsens might be more focused on that game over the league. In any case, Sonder is in better form (best in the league in the last 6) and are one the best road teams in the league. Another good draw chance but nice odds for a road win with a push on the draw.
Sweden Superettan aka Sweden II
Landskrona vs. Assyriska FF
Assyriska FF draw no bet aka pick +107 - 0.93 to win 1 unit
i am a sucker for h2h and assyriska 4 straight wins on the road vs lands BOIS. 8 straight overs with this two teams so perhaps the over is the better play. Land 75% over and Assyriska 100% over this year....i find when numbers are that good i tend to lose so i decided against the over...but i love it. Assyriska 3 wins and 1 loss so far this year beating 3 teams that really should be near the bottom of the table - kinda lika Landskrona. Landskrona 1-1-2 beating promotional side Varbergs and losing to Brommapojkarna and Brage. The fact Bromm already won on the road vs Bromm is a good sign - very similar record last season and both started off with a 3-1 record. I really don`t see a home win here and yes one more draw chance but in the end Assyriska a serious promotional candidate and so far beating the teams you must win and Lands BOIS certainly a team they need to beat.
