Detroit Lions QB Matt Stafford had a great game on Sunday throwing for 422 yards with 5 TDs, including the winning major with no time on the clock.

Unfortunately, Stafford threw the game-winning TD with an injured shoulder and according to the Detroit News, is unlikely to play against Green Bay on Thanksgiving.

Stafford has a “a sprained AC joint in his left (non-throwing) shoulder” but the DN also says that there is “no significant damage.”

Lions head coach Jim Schwartz says that his rookie QB is sore and if the pain doesn’t subside, Daunte Culpepper will start in Stafford’s place.

The Lions are 10-point home ‘dogs against the Packers.
