This team isn't as bad as most probably think. They are 5-7 and have lost 3 games by 3 points and 2 games by 4 points. I think this week the line shows that are a very good team and are getting respect as 1 point home favorites vs Minnesota.
They won @ Chicago and @ NYG in cold weather. That's a old myth.

Watched the Jets Minny game, Jets dominated 2nd half, had to settle for 5 FGs in the red zone, shoulda coulda won, pushed in one TD but blew a ton of opportunities.
Minny is in great shape for the playoffs and not that motivated at this point in the season.
Detroit seems to be motivated, working on next year, their culture has evolved under new management.

Lions won last year 29-27 but keep in mind Vikes I believe in 3Q and 4Q missed 3 2-pt conversions. Idiocy chasing points when you see 3EPs gives them 30pts and a W. I digress. But that’s a little history and Lions rarely beat Vikes…previous to last year was 2016 & 17. 2011 before that. Again it happens but infrequently.
As for this Sunday, I like Lions chances like some have mentioned above. QB play. Motivation. Culture change. Home field. Vikes lack of motivation…line sure jumped from open so is that a sign too.

I don't think anybody here tipped they like Minnesota for the upset or to lay it with the Lions. Til now maybe. I think the line is right. I don't want any part of Detroit. They have a superbowl qb and a good set of skill guys. A coaching staff with no xs and Os but rah rah motivators. Give too much in the ground game. I don't think they can make the total high enough.
