Have there ever been two more high profile wideouts coming to the same team at the same time? Joey Harrington will have no excuses in 2004, with the dynamic duo of Charles Rogers and Roy Williams.

Receiver Charles Rogers says he's 100 percent healthy after spending nine months rehabilitating his right collarbone, which he broke five games into his rookie season.Rogers and Williams — the Lions two top draft choices over the last two years — should offer a double speed threat to opposing defenses. Together, they should enable Harrington to near his potential as a quarterback.

Roy Williams adds speed at receiver, running the 100-meter dash in 10.07 seconds.Williams is expected to play a big role in a possible Lions’ turnaround. He’s also a little bigger than the Lions had expected. He reported at 220 pounds, 5 pounds heavier than his playing weight at Texas.

Detroit hasn't had a big play receiver since Herman Moore, this duo could go down as one of the alltime great wideout combo's...Should be fun in Mo-town!

should be a potent passing offense this year, but the rushing-by-committee may not work, unless Kevin Jones steps up in a big way. Without establishing a rushing game, may be tough to exploiit that talent with the pass.

Nothing like the jumping the gun. Why don't we let them catch a pass as a tandem before we tell Swann and Stallworth to move over?

FTR- I realize these two would have to play some amazing football for a long long time to even be mentioned with Lynn Swann and John Stallworth...

LOL- I thought it was an obvious over statement

Rice and Owens will be.
S & S were overated ....but still great. They played on great teams that had the Steel Curtain, a superb running game, and a very good QB. If Marvin Harrison could get anyone decent to go on the other side ....they would be the best Tandem. (Don't forget Randy Moss and Chris Carter)

Diablo- Rice and Owens...not really from the same era at all...

Swann and Stallworth played in a defensive era...rules were very very different...They got mugged all the way down field back then...Lynn Swann was the best big game wide reciever ever! And like I said it was a different era....

Jerry Rice's hero? Swann!
