This ones got blowout written all over it. The Chiefs have to be fuming after that poor second half effort at Denver. The Kansas City defense isn't very good overall but they are absolutely terrible against the run. The only thing is Detroit can't run the ball.

The Lions will be playing outdoors against a team coming off an embarrassing loss that still has their sites set on home field throughout the AFC playoffs and the Chiefs will jump right on this team and won't let up. KC can win this by four TD's and I think they will.

Good luck to all Chiefs bettors, no way I can lay 14 in the NFL. Pass.

Will,

I no way can you compare the situation of the Packers with this game. The Detroit/Packers game on Thanksgiving day was a HUGE game for Detroit and at home. This is on the road and Detroit will not be motivated. KC BIG!!!

In the past I have learned the hardway not to lay double digits this late in the year in the NFL. I compare it to putting. You will hate yourself more if you leave it short than if miss it long. Il Take the points and miss short.

Personally I am done betting for the year, I won a boatload and don't wanna risk it. But there is no way I would take the Lions here. Doesn't help either that the Chiefs are coming off a loss. Priest Holmes and Tony Gonzales will have huge games.

ChadC - I agree! 83-3

Kansas City's weakness is stopping the run, giving up 5.2 YPC BUT Detroit can't run the ball, only getting 3.5 YPC on offense.

BLOWOUT!

Taking the Chiefs may be the best play on probably the worst card of this season. I'll lay 14 with this team because they are so explosive on offense and Dante Hall may run wild on Detroit's weak special teams coverage.

Other sides I liked this week are Minnesota over 40 and Minn. -3, but with Grossman starting for Chi they may not score at all. And Minn. is awful on the road.

I'm laying the wood here as well. Sometimes a game looks like a blowout, smells like a blowout, and lives up to it. This one should be in the bank at the half. The Lions are not built to comeback down big either. . .KC wants homefield throughout and wont let up - Lions have no back to expose the Chiefs terrible run defense. I see it Chiefs big - like 41-10.

BOL ALL!

Just ask yourself this, How could anyone of sound mind justify taking the Lions ON THE ROAD vs anyone let alone the Chiefs??? Denver's ass whooping of the Chiefs definitely got their attention. Poor poor Lions

this reminds me of the san francisco arizona game of last week. both large home favorites coming off an embarrassing loss giving up more than 40 points. result should be similar

I'm parlaying the Detroit money line with the Rams first half.

$$$$ come on, Detroit isn't as bad as the Cardinals, they've got at leat a .05% chance of winning.

Well being a die hard Lions fan forever (please feel for me) I think they will either break or tie the record for most losses in a row on the road. I dont see them showing up, Harrington is over rated and is afraid to move his feet. As much as I hate betting against home teams, this one is probably over 5 minutes into the game, if that.

Chiefs win big vs team to be worst road team in history. Chiefs also upset over poor 2nd half in Denver. Dome team goes outside to cold and possibly snow gives Lions no chance in this one.

with everything pointing KC's way this game could get ugly real quick, but I would rather get my eye's gouged out with rusty nails than lay this much wood PASS
