Ok this is it. If Detroit can't cover -4 the NBA is fixed. I know they only won by 6 at home last game but lets get real here. We all know who dominated 3 quarters of that game.
I'm thinking about pounding the Pistons in the first half at -2 or -2.5 whatever it is.

These two teams are night and day.
I know the NBA wants king James to stick around as long as possible, and if he stays more than 4 games then it will be official. NBA is fixed.

Tell me why Det wont cover the first half and game. Please somebody enlighten me.

Gracias.:nohead:

Away game and Cleveland beat Detroit once at home during the regular season...You said give you a reason, I gave you one but I still think Detroit takes this game easy.

Don't forget that Milwaukee was a 7 point dog in this exact same spot and won outright in Game 3.

Having said that, I actually think the Bucks are better than the Cavs and Detroit will sweep.

I think the Pistons get more and more hungry as the smell of that trophy gets closer.
I think they pull out the broom on this one as well.
I know the Bucs dismantled them in round one on the road. But I don't think the waffs of trophy aroma were invading the Piston nostrals as much as it is now...

Damn I'm feeling the sweep.

I think he Pistons want to welcome Lebron to the post season with a little spring cleaning sweep.

Lebron may be the King, but the Pistons have the Palace.

ha85, are you saying the NBA is fixed? is that what your saying?
Just kidding. I actually feel the same way as much as I want to pound it. I should just trust that fishy feeling in my gut and what until game 4 or 5 depending...

Good luck whichever side you choose or don't.

i wish i could give you all my complete write up on this game... In short this looks like a trap with the stones... The stones however are not your typical NBA roady....

I have a strong play on this game...

Game 1 vs. Game 3 opening lines...

Miami -5, NJ -2 .... 7 point swing
Phoenix -5.5, LAC -3 ... 8.5 point swing
SAS -5, Dal -3 .... 8 point swing
Det -10, Det -4 .... 6 point swing

This is the smallest swing, and Cleveland is the only way I think the game is worth playing.
Good luck though.

If it looks like a trap, and smells like a trap...it probably IS A TRAP!!!

However, I gotta go against the "trap" thing here. There's no way in hell the Pistons shouldn't cover this line, and sweep the Cavs. There's no way in hell anyone in the playoffs can beat the Pistons in a 7-game series, either.

If they get a rematch against those faggoty Spurs, it won't even be close.

Carefull Smart

Based On Your Opening Lines Vegas Still Likes Detroit. The Normal Swing Is 3 1/2 For Home Field Advantage. So A Swing Of Seven Would Be In Order. So Detroit From -10 To -4 . Vegas Is Saying They Are Liking Detroit. Reason Is It Should Be A Minus -3 And They Are Minus 4.

The Stronger Play In This Game Are The Totals. Based On Your Spread Logic.

Yes, I see what you're saying - and it makes sense - but I think the reason this line moved less is that Detroit is the public's favorite team. If they opened Detroit -2.5 or -3, everyone would bet Detroit. It seems everyone wants to anyway. I've got to think the larger tickets on this game will be on Cleveland. I am just laying off myself, I think.

In the last 5 series (Rd. 1 and Rd. 2 incorporated only) where the original home team led the series 2-0, 4 out of 5 times, that team fell flat on their face in Game 3.

Still...I wanna bet Detroit...and I already did...:o(
