I thought of middling. But I'm thinking if Denver covers, they're going to win. I'll watch this over the next 2 weeks. Right now my pic is Denver outright. Thereby proving again how rigged these games are

DEN will win the game. CAR was best team in the league vs the blitz. But DEN doesn't blitz much. Not like the leading blitz team ARZ.
DEN blitzed on only about 16% of the pass plays vs NE. Only 16%! Yet they knocked Brady down more times than any QB has been knocked down this year. With 3 and 4 man rushes!

Cam is mobile and will be able to get away from Denver's pass rush unlike slue foot Brady. Also if he decides to run, he could have more total yards in this game than the whole Denver offense. This game is lining up as a blow out win for Carolina.
I first thought the NFL might try to fix this game and give Manning a story book ending, but after seeing the ref line up, I an changing my mind to A Carolina blow out.
Same young hungry team as Seattle 2 years ago, with an NFL MVP QB and better special teams. Carolina's defense in these playoffs have been
more dominate vs Palmer and Wilson, who were both lighting it up down the stretch.
Denver played 2 teams with immobile QB's (Ben hurt, Brady) with 0 running games because of the injuries to both teams top backs.

Last week everyone here seemed to think NE was going to run away with the game, but they didn't read the reports of the party the week before, with
Jones ending up with a drug over dose. A fight that was swept under the table, where Gronk tore his knee and Bill got a black eye. Prefect distractions
that caused team animosity.
And to top it all off, Brandon Lang has a GOY on NE.

Look what Denver did 2 years ago, Enough said
The only thing that will change my mind or make me think is if Lang takes Carolina.

Out with the OLD (Manning) in with the New (Newton, the NFL's next great QB)

Everyone was not on NE. That's your own perception.
Same with the NE party/fight garbage. Did you read the report about the NFL Mafia telling Bill that he had to lose to DEN? And when he said fuck you, they clubbed him over the eye! lol And Lang doesn't determine the outcome of football games. He's just another tool.

I can't help it if the general public got sold on NE. Same as they are getting sold on CAR now.

What makes you think the refs for the game point to a CAR blowout?

And if you're going to use what DEN did two years ago vs SEA, when so many things have changed since, you've definitely said enough, thank you.

I confirmed the story about the party at Gronks house. My cousin was the fireman on duty that picked up Jones. He called the police chief that was
the Pats head of security. There was a fight with Jones and Gronk, (That's how he got his knee messed up). The Chief called Bill and he got into it with Gronk and got a black eye out of it. They swept it under the bus. I said this would have a big impact on this game because of Gronks knee.

When I heard all this I bet Denver and mentioned it on this site. A few others confirmed it. I guess you think people make up shit here.
I played in the NFL , and coached for over 25 yrs, and know many people involved and have many connections I call when I need to know about someone or some thing that might help me give some good info.

Think what you want and bet what you want. But believe me when I saw. I NFL would like nothing but to have Peyton go out a winner. But it would love nothing more than to have the new next top NFL money endorser ( Cam Newton), the new face of the NFL to take over the reigns.

Most of this reports about public betting money is bullshit made up to persuade gamblers to go certain ways. None are truly accurate. But I taped both games this weekend, and watched them a few times already.
Denver will play 2 deep and play man on the outside receivers, while having a LB spy Cam on pass plays. He will run all over them ( which Brady could not because of his mobility) just like he did to Arizona.
This will open the reverse dives and counters in the run game. Denver got to Brady because of their injured line. Not the case against Pitt. They only beat the Steelers was because Brown didn't play. Big Ben would have blown Denver out that day. If it weren't for the third string running back fumbling late.

Denver will not be able to rush on Carolina, but will continue to try to open up the Play action pass from Peyton. If you watched the second half of the game last Sunday. NE blitzed the whole second half and completely shut down the Bronco's offense. This will be Carolina's game plan from the beginning of this game. If they get to Manning and cause any turn overs and go up 10 to 14 points. IT"S OVER.
I could be wrong, but that's my take in breaking down the games.

Sorry I went on and on, but it bother's the shit out of me, when someone posts.
Denver will run all over Carolina. They will win straight out.
So gives some reasonable explanations why you think this.
We are here to help each other beat the man, not argue who you think might win.

Everything points to Carolina being the better team except for SOS. TO ratio of Car+21 to Den -4, 43/49 SBs were won by the team with the best TO ratio. Carolina is really no slouch and have everything needed to win the SB. However there's always that chance that Denver could win. Look at the Raiders who had a TO ratio of -13 and they won the SB. So it's not out of the realm of things that Demver has a shot. I find it pathetic how Denver stands no chance...

Haha no worries. keep it coming! I'm always happy to hear others thoughts. Not enough info around here as it is. Too many "opinions" though. I'm guilty of that myself. Maybe I'm way off base. But that's why I need people to enlighten me on the stuff I'm not aware of.

DEN led the league in rush yards per attempt at 3.3. Best in league at stopping the run. You might say, well, they are 3rd in yards per game. Behind SEA and NYJ and ahead of CAR in 4th. But they faced about 50 more attempts than those other 3. DEN can stop the run. And get to the QB. Led league in sacks.

Where DEN has trouble on defense is protection in the passing game. NE couldn't do anything because ya the o-line sucked, but good passing teams are what gives DEN trouble. Is CAR a good passing team? They are 24th in passing yards with 224 per game. Could be a bit skewed because they played with a lead in almost every game this year. (something I'd like to see again is how this team CAR does when trailing, didn't do a good job in loss to ATL). CAR must get a lead or they may be the ones getting blown out. But then again, this is SB 50. No team is getting blown out. The tin foil hat theory thinks we may see the first OT game in SB history!

CAR is missing their cornerbacks now. Insert Robert McClain and Cortland Finnegan (who Peyton Manning shredded for years in TEN) instead. So does CAR help them out and then get torched by the run game? Or do they stop the run game and let those two guys get torched? DEN just has to go out and execute. Rivera and crew will have more headaches then DEN coaches will. And then you've got one of the best QBs in Manning at decoding the coverage and switching plays at the line of scrimmage.
