Iona +2 (2*)
I was pretty surprised to see BYU in the field for the tournament this year. They only have one "quality" out of conference win and that was against Oregon so I'm not so sure we should be considering that a quality win. They were dominated by the top teams ( St Mary's and Gonzaga ) in their conference ( West Coast Conference ) going 1-4 against them in their first year in the conference and none of the other teams in the conference are really worth mentioning. Both Iona and BYU like to run the court and put up points but Iona is the much more athletic team. BYU is in a less athletic type of conference and can therefore play that style with less problems, however matching up against this Iona team means they will be at a big disadvantage just because it will be hard for them to be efficient offensively playing the pace they usually play. Iona has proven to be a pretty solid team this season even enduring an eight game road stretch in December and managing to go 6-2 against what was for the most part opponents from major conferences. Iona wins this game pretty easily and goes on to the actual first round of the NCAA tournament.
