51-26 (+29.82 units) for the season
today is a tough day, but i'll play two games:
Düsseldorf-Mannheim (game time 12.30 am ET): Düsseldorf to win (2.2 / +120) for 1 unit
Düsseldorf did not put good result on the board the last three games (1-1-1) although playing good. In thursday'S draw in frankfurt they just gave the win away in the last period. it looked loke a typical look ahead to today'S games situation.
Düsseldorf is currently in 4th place, but is in a close race with Mannheim and Köln for the 2nd place. on the other hand nürnberg is slowly catching up from behind, which would mean a loss of home advantage in the play-offs.
I see this as a must-win situation for düsseldorf against a rival.thsi game could decide if they will play really forthe second place or will just settling down in 4th for rest of season. so expect to see them very motivated.
Usually they are very strong at home (8-2 in last 10 games)
Mannheim on the other hand sits in second place, but is comeing of a 2-0 loss in hamburg on friday.they have just 1 win in last 6 games in regulation. Also i have the funny theory, that they are not playing well in away games against teams from the middle part of germany. they are 0-5 against team from this part of germany, while 5-4-4 against the rest. Not sure why it's working, but i'll go with this trend to continue. overall they are also not the best away team in the league ,so there is good value with the home win here.
2- team parlay: Hamburg to beat Ingolstadt (1.6) and Berlin to beat Kassel (1.6) for 2.69 and 1 unit
Hamburg (game time 12.30 am ET) has only 1 loss in regulation in last 10 home games and is comeing of a big win against top-team Mannheim on friday. they are sitting in last play-off spot right now, whith good chance to improove up to number 6. they are one of the strongest home team, especially against non -top-teams.
They should win here. only danger is that ingolstadt lately performed much better under new coach, but they got a set back with a home loss on friday. They are by far the worse team here and if hamburg plays seriously (which they should,as they need every point for the play-offs) this should be a winner.
.
Berlin (game time 8.30 am ET) the league leader did not perform well the last games, with 5 draws out of six,but the other teams just dont catch up to them so they are still quite comfortable in the lead. they are comeing of a come from behind draw at köln on friday, which is quite a good result. i expect them to get back on the winning track to day at home (where they are the strongest team in league).
Kassel is struggeling mightily over the last couple of weeks (as i predicted)
Friday'S home win was the first win after a 5 game loosing streak.
