Prof, I have some sanity now that its morning. I had errands yesterday and didn't get to the OTB until the middle of the 5th race at TB so the whole day was almost gone and I was really mad at myself that I had been looking forward to this and then the whole day seemed like a disaster. Then one of the good cappers got there and I asked him if he had any tips and he said he really liked the 6 horse at SA in the second race. SA was just starting so I waited and put my $5 across the board on him. He won and gave back some decent money and my spirits were much better than before. I waited for the 8th a TB which that capper said was the best track as far as he was concerned according to money, lots of money at that track. Time for the 8th. Already had some seed money so what the hell, kicked the WPS bet up to $10 and then used what the capper called an old dog betting move. I didn't get to see the race or the odds but he looked on his phone and said they were betting all the horses down but one. When SA came on line they turn off TB is what they said. Anyway, long story shorter, I also put in a little teaser I call it. 5 in 1st and 2nd with the 1/4/9 Tri. $42 in all and that was to be my day. We waited till the race was way over and then he looked at his cell again to give me the results. Well, he started with the good news that the 5 ran second and the payback for place and show was really good. Between his 6 horse and the 5, the across the board monies came to $175 and change. I was really happy then so I asked him who won and he muttered the 1. I then said who came in third and he said the 4. I said I have the Trifecta wired too. So he got back on his phone and gave me the good news that I had picked up another $353 and change and fist pumped me about 10 times. Wow was I happy. I went up to cash out but my Tri ticket came back IRS. The lady said to go back to the table and she was busy but would look at it soon. I went back to the table and the capper noticed the look on my face and asked what happened. I told him and he looked at the ticket and then more fist pumps as he gave me the 50 cent price and not the dollar payout. The total was now $707.60. Long story short, I walked out of there smiling from ear to ear. My tab was just short of a hun with tip and then tipped the lady in the cage $50 more. A great day was had........Thank you again, it is so much appreciated. I will stay in touch.
