YTD 0-0
Denver +20 @ Gonzaga
Cinderellas maybe, but they haven't been real good with heavy chalk the past coupla years. I like it better given the fact they just covered vs. an Idaho team that was in it all the way. Only a late run eked them through.
Denver's got a pretty talented starting five, including four returning starters from a team that impressed in the Sun Belt tourney last year. Depth is a problem, but this is their biggest game since coming to Div I in '98.
The Zags have a pretty tough stretch coming up. I doubt they'll care to pound Denver. Maybe DD, but not 20.
My future is:
California +5000
the type of squad that could peak in March...a potential All-America big man and two stellar incoming freshmen...they should battle Stanford and ASU for 2nd in the Pac-10...2nd or 3rd in the Pac-10 will get you a pretty good seed...from there it's anyone's guess...Sure, it's a bit farfetched, but crazier things have happened, and I still like the value.
Good luck
