buffrock,
I agree and have even posted that Martz should have been fired long before now but being a Rams fan, I can tell you I rarely play on my team. This is the strongest play on the Rams imo since they were 0-5 and a big underdog at home vs undefeated Raiders team two years ago. I think Rams will win by a very surprisingly easy margin and coaching will not affect the outcome in this one. Best of luck on Pats! They are too beat up here to compete against Rams 4 or 5 wr sets. There will be too many lb on backs and receivers. I will also tell you I think they will run more out of these sets. I can't stress more how important this game is to Martz. He was thought of as a great coach until he lost the SB 36 to Pats and knows how important this game is to his reputation. I will also tell you that since Seattle game, he has actually been coaching better than he has since 2001. He is showing some emotion, actually is not wasting time outs, and not challenging foolishly. He knows his job is on the line and he has stepped up. Again, I don't like Martz and want him fired, but objectively he has been getting his **** together. I would also like to note that Martz has been making a big deal of the illegal contact rule this week with the league so I will expect them to be calling it tight on the defensive secondary players in this one which also would favor a high scoring game.BOL
