All you guys complaining about that NO PI call, watch replays, Pettigrew hooked his face mask right before ball arrives, he basically bailed out Dallas defender... otherwise it would have been PI

How about the holding on every play on the TD drive?

Then whyd they throw the flag. Make the call. Then pick it up with no explanation? That's PI every day except today.

Wait, just watching the replay. Dez Bryant came out on the field without his helmet and got in the refs face on the field of play after the PI flag?

WTF, so players on the other side of the ball can come out on the field without their helmet and get in the face of the refs for calls they do not like? That is as bad as the non-PI call.

I thought there was a 10 yard penalty, and a fifteen yard penalty. Turns out, there was neither. Speechless, and I won.

Absolutely should've been an unsportsmanlike 15 yard penalty 100% of the time. It was a worse non-call that the non-PI.

I agree, you can argue with the PI call all you want but there is no defense to Bryant running onto the field without his helmet to argue the call. Should have been an unsportsmanlike 15 yard penalty minimum. What makes it worse is that Bryant was flagged for the exact same thing last year!

But when asked why he took his helmet off, Bryant said he just wanted to make sure Triplette could understand him when he was asking about the flag.

“So he could see me clear,” Bryant said. “I took my helmet off so I could tell him. I didn’t know it was a flag because the play was over with. I’ll learn from it.”

The Cowboys’ coaches may want to sit down with Bryant for a chat about other rules, so that he doesn’t have to learn anything else by getting a 15-yard penalty.

Bryant may not have known that’s a penalty, but it is: When a player takes off his helmet to argue a call, he gets flagged. Period.

The removing your helmet penalty only applies to players on the field during the play. I have no clue what the penalty situation is for a player coming off the sideline to argue a call.

Would you you not assume it would apply to players on the bench also? If not, would you not have the Dez Bryant's of the world jumping off the bench and arguing every call on the field of play? I think it is worse coming off the sidelines without your helmet to argue a call. Imagine any player running onto the field to argue argue any call? It would be total anarchy.

Is the NFL going to come up with the Dez Bryant rule?

It would be like a rough streetball game where someone calls foul everytime down the court and you argue for 5 minutes before someone shoots for the ball. No running, no flow just constant players running onto the field to argue calls. That is what it would be like if it was not a penalty.

if you have all the answers ,then explain why dez bryant didn't get a flag for leaving the sideline with no helmut and screaming at the refs about the call,....why was he not flagged for unsportsman like conduct,........its all disgusting and the refs are really bad,....in my eyes dallas lost that game but the nfl didn't want that to happen

Well according to the NFL director of officiating...

that throwing a flag against Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant for coming onto the field without his helmet to argue the initial pass interference call was not an automatic penalty because Bryant wasn't in the game at the time.

What to make of that I have no clue...
