Cade Cunningham Over 5.5 Assists -128
Perhaps no player in the league is being asked to do more from a playmaking standpoint than Cunningham is for this Pistons team. The former 1st overall pick has a 33% usage rate so far on the season, and his 6.7 assists and 12.8 potential assists a night are really what drives the offense. Now the level of workload doesn’t come without responsibility as the guard has also struggled with turnovers, but in tonight’s matchup against the Hawks team who is 3rd from bottom in turns of turnovers created, I’m less inclined to think it’ll be a problem. So in a game that projects to be close and to be played at a relatively quick pace, I’m going to back the highest-usage player on the court to accumulate 6+ assists.
