According to a report in the Toronto Sun, Detroit Red Wings goaltender Curtis Joseph underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair an injured ankle. He is expected to be out for four or five months and would not be ready to play until January.

I was a big Cujo fan having come from T.O.; however, that shift in attitude that high profile athletes go through - where all I want is a cup and i don't want to "develop" a team to get it" - attitude........ tiresome. I personally am sick of seeing athletes get the big trade to the contender so that they can exit with the hardware. What an "empty" experience to an onlooker like me. To each his own. Bye Cujo..........
