According to Danish law and some tax experts, Peter Easgate might have to pay 45% tax on $500,000 and 75% tax on the rest of the winnings after that he won over 9 million dollars for the 1st place in WSOP Maint Event a few days ago.


Peter Eastgate was well aware of the high tax he had to pay if he stayed in Denmark and therefore he decided to move to England before the final table was played.
Now its up to the Danish tax department to decide if he have been living abroad long enough not to pay tax in Denmark.

Based on past precedent set for bashing the President i dont see why this thread was moved but be that as it may...

But it does bring to mind an important question, to me anyway.
For the last 8 yrs ive had to read daily bashing of the present administration on many and various topics on the main forum. Does this change now? Is the mention of disagreement with The Liar enough to warrant the RR? im just asking , the tables are turned now and ill be doing the bashing and the respondents will be doing the defending and if its now not allowed then i wont beat a last place horse..
Now to the respondents, i have had to respond to the bashing posts with FACTS and my opinion of same WITHOUT calling the original poster, etc names and insults...Yet it seems as now that the tables are turned insulting the poster is fine. In fact its the only responses at all . Which is ofcourse expected when the respondents have no clue about anything and therefore couldnt rebutt a fact if it bit them.
There is no opinion at all posted above, my post was a cut and pasted fact. I fail to see any idiocy in a fact. Leftys do i guess..........
Isnt the main arguement on these forums everyday for the legalization of everything from sportsbetting to weed to prostitution that the Govt is missing out on huge tax revenues so how is it even a reach to say that the next President wont see this and get the same idea???? Didnt the federal govt just in the last yr or so make stricter rules for collecting taxes won in poker tournys??? So its already a given that they are looking into these huge prizepools for a source of revenue........
