It really is pretty simple for repubs.....if they could have a Kasich/Rubio ticket and pickup Florida and Ohio with them....which I think they could.....they are in the White House......any other combo is gonna be a huge dog.

However, they are too stupid to figure it out. Instead it will be a joke like Walker that may get thru and Hillary will slaughter him.

Kasich/Rubio would be a VERY dangerous ticket against Hillary. Great experience, competence, youth, 2 swing states strongly in play. But like you said, the Meat eating base of the R's is too dumb to get a potential winning ticket, like how they rejected the only guy the D's feared in 2012 in Huntsman.

The Cruz ass kissing of Trump has been among the most entertaining aspect of the whole Trump saga. Trump started out saying about Cruz that he thought you had to be born in America to be POTUS. Cruz didn't take the bait. Cruz is many things, a vile, disgusting, manipulative, vindictive asshole. But he ain't dumb. He knows like the rest of us that Trump will not be the Republican nominee, and will drop out. He's hoping Trump throws his bluster and his followers behind Cruz, rather than go 3rd party. It won't make a difference because Cruz has as much of a chance to get the nomination as The Donald, but it's fun to watch.

Of course you'll pass, as always. I have basically written the script for Trump, stated he'd zoom to the lead in the polls early. What will end his chances eventually is collective common sense. Not any one specific act of stupidity like the McCain comments.

I'm always amazed at how clueless some are. As if their own primary election is a basis for the country. Politics 101 is that diehards vote in primaries and the rest of the country votes in the general. I mean, how can they not know this? Even more, why am I surprised they don't know this? Lol
