not a good game by Ovechkin, tonight, on home soil game 7, his team needed him the most-- Very poor defensive effort on Staal's goal, and the obvious giveaway on Crosby's 2nd goal.

will be interesting to see where Ovie goes from here--- he's certainly not in the caliber of a Gretzky or Lemieux, those that made players around them better. He's a selfish player. Will he change his game? Can he change his game?

i tried to give hockey a chance last nite for the first time in about 10 years, and after the 2nd period , i switched it off. I am sure so did a lot of "casual sports fans". NHL should of tried to keep this game close for some excitment. All sports radios were building this up like it was game 7 of the world series.

My guess is the leaque is happy to see the Pens advance. A Boston
vs Pittsburg series should be a good one, even if not as exciting as
the Caps/Pens 7 games was. Hard to beat that.

ive said for awhile now it'll take 20 straight solid seasons for the NHL to even sniff the NBA and MLB's jock.

They've had 2 seasons, but this game alone would've counted as a season since it was so hyped. But the game failed and set them back a season. Remember, this game is everything. No other game will be viewed more for hockey, or get more attention then this one, and they failed.

There about 19 solid seasons from even being in the discussion room with NBA and MLB.

21 if the coyotes fold just because its so embarassing for the league to have a bankrupt team.

terrific series just ended in Detroit. The Red wings needed 7 games and a goal in the last 3:00 minutes of the game to get by the Ducks.

Perry and Getzlaf were just incredible in this series, offensively nearly winning it by themselves, just wow. Two big guys with FANTASTIC hands, from the Lindros mold.

Have always been a Lidstrom fan, pains me to see him play now. Everything he does is just slower. However, at even at 39 he's still better than 3/4 of the leagues defensemen----heart, and incredible hockey acumen. Sure hope he knows when to call it quits, please Nick don't be like that clown Chelios

P Dats was MIA in this series, man they were really laying the body on him

congrats Red Wing fans

When you get playboy X's crib, make sure to turn on the TV. Whole comedy routine Kat does on it you won't see anywhere else in the game. Just be sure to assassinate playboy X and not the other dude.

I'm sure Bettman can't wait for that experience.

All the free advertising re steroids must be driving him loonie.

Meanwhile the NHL is dominated by Canadian players being paid
huge salaries by American citizens.
