Well yeah, we see Hall of Fame players retire a lot. This one just happens to be retiring 5 years too late but Golden State going for 73 wins? You may not see that for another 40 years. Zit i've never said Kobe was better than Jordan. Jordan is the best of all time. Kobe is my favorite player but he is not on Jordans level nor is anyone else.

I will argue that Kobe is better than lebron till the day I die tho. But that is one for another day.


I have nothing but respect for you fz, you're one of the best posters on this site and a good guy. But you would be well served to realize that just because someone holds an opinion different than yours (may it be on basketball, religion, gay marriage, etc), it does not mean they aren't bright.

If I did I will happily retract it because I don't believe Kobe (or anyone else) tops jordan offensively or otherwise. He's simply the best of all time.

he shot way too much...usually you have to be shooting above 50% when validating taking that many shots.

however, 44% was pretty decent considering everyone knew what he was getting the ball. (they seemed to guard him tough without actually giving him a double team)
