There would be massive unrest here if a country actually invaded. Not a random terrorist attack. But if the infrastructure was not functioning. How many in this country could go just 4 days without electricity. A massive snowstorm blew through here 2 Janurays ago. My internet was out for a week. I survived but at times it was annoying because cable wasn't working either. Most would take to the street and just kill any Asian they see. Like in World War 2, Japanese Americans were locked up just because you cant trust them.

China wouldn't even make it to the mainland if they tried to invade us. It's a complete mismatch. That doesn't mean they aren't on the path to be able to compete in the future, which I think is one of the scariest threats out there. If you have a country with 700,000,000 more people, and they start mass producing weapons and military technology, you might get yourself in trouble. But anywhere in the next two decades or so, they wouldn't get a boot on our land. Our military is pretty amazing as a military, and still amazing as a police force, but just sucks that we use them that way.
