ANYTHING could happen but the machines would have to actually be destroyed for the info to be destroyed......

We went through a huge quake in 94 and the country didnt fall apart so I wouldnt be too worried...

I have to say that area around Quepos isn't the most blessed with infrastructure to start with, I can imagine how bad it must be. That whole town of Quepos looked to me like it would crumble under any decent sized earthquake. My heart goes out to all the good Ticos I met down in that part of the country. The area has little to survive on other than the money tourism brings in. There are many very good people around there that deserve better breaks than this.
