A long-expected upturn in U.S. coronavirus deaths has begun, driven by fatalities in states in the South and West, according to data on the pandemic.

The number of deaths per day from the virus had been falling for months, and even remained down as states like Florida and Texas saw explosions in cases and hospitalizations — and reported daily U.S. infections broke records several times in recent days.

Scientists warned it wouldn't last. A coronavirus death, when it occurs, typically comes several weeks after a person is first infected. And experts predicted states that saw increases in cases and hospitalizations would, at some point, see deaths rise too. Now that's happening.

I've posted about that before.

Maybe, but since I've been posting here, I've seen it 0 times, despite it being a far more serious issue, and I've seen you post about coronavirus 530948394803984309483098403984308403843093489038409384093843 times.

Does not seem proportional. Please do a better job at being an insufferable ****. Thanks.

Far more serious? That's debatable.

Ok, so you're taking the position that eventually this will kill more than 647,000 people per year. I promise you that won't be the case.

No. It's more than just deaths that are an issue, but other negative effects of C-19.

Also the deaths by heart disease, like death itself, are not entirely preventable. C-19 deaths, OTOH, are preventable. So inform people about heart disease all you want, but it is still going to kill many people no matter what they do to try to avoid it.

C-19 deaths are preventable.

thats just an outright misrepresentation. covid hoax is a flu. rarely or if ever (i have yet to read a single patient drop dead of corona hoax) do people just die of it. and no they are not preventable. covid hoax is a virus. if your immune system can't handle it thats the way it goes and there is nothing anyone can do about it. thankfully dying of corona hoax total is probably in the single digits.

Preventable in a fairy tale world where people can just sit in their houses and order delivery and kids can not go to school without tens of thousands, if not more, deaths of despair and a global economy crash that ends up pushing hundreds of millions of people to the brink of starvation globally, by the way, that's the UN's predictions, not mine... sure, yeah, totally preventable.

Starvation? There's been many people starving already year after year since forever, yet now plenty of food for everyone while many still starve. As for kids going to school, they're - extremely low risk for C-19 death. Before long there will likely be medicines & vaccines to help stamp out this virus. If all people acted responsibly, C-19 may have been prevented & all but wiped out already.
