Figueirense +0.5 -108 3units
Since Figueirense is getting back more & more of their injured players, the team is getting back on track: They came back twice @Goias on the road to win 3-2, despite being a man and a goal down at halftime and then conceding the 2-2 equalizer due to an own goal. Still counter attacked late to win it and showed a lot of spirit in that game. After that beat Flamengo 3-0 at home, lost 0-1 @Joinville in a rather open game (but in the end a deserved loss, but could have easily gotten a tie) and tied vs Santos 0-0.
In that game vs Santos weather was a factor that limited both teams and Figueira was missing their best striker Clayton. He will be back from his yellow card suspension and that will also allow them to move Carlos Alberto back to his regular position midfield. They should also get Marquinhos back, their captain and leader, which would allow them to finally field their regular centre defense with him and Thiago Heleno. Both have been regulars for Figueira for almost two years and their defense has been considerably better when both are playing.
Clayton will vastly improve their offense and their defense, which only gave up 1 goal over the course of their last 3 games, will be even better due to Marquinhos. They can also sit back and wait for opportunities to counter attack since a draw would be ok for them, while Coritiba desperately needs to win this game.
Coritiba is also in a downward spiral, last week they had almost a fight break out between players and fans, last 5 games were all lost and they scored just twice while giving up a whopping 13 goals. Overall they just scored 23 goals in 32 matches this season, 2nd to worst attack in Serie A. Saturday night they will be with Henrique Almeida, who scored 9 of those 23. Attacking midfielder Ruy will also be missing, so taking current form and all that into account, I'm not exactly sure why they are -0.5, should be -0.25 at best.
Plus if they don't score early, homefield actually might turn into a disadvantage because of the mounting pressure and the home crowd possibly turning on them once again.
Only negative here is the constant rain in Florianopolis, which forced Figueirense to adjust their practice schedule. But I don't think that this will have much effect at all.
