"_I defend the book as I've done business with them for years now. I've never had any bullshit changes happen to me & I've always been paid promptly. They have even been helpful to me when I entered in something wrong by accident etc.
The book has treated me well & I stand up for it for what they have done for me & what they have to offer to the real gambling consumer not the bonus hunting whores looking to take a quick pop & hope they can cash in on some free dough.
Can any of you honestly tell me if you were running a book you would like to have people sign up, play one casino game to "barely" meet rollovers, stay idle to the exact day they are elligible to withdraw funds & then never come back? If you say yes you are either full of shit or nuts. This person's intentions were so obvious it is pathetic."_ -EGD
EGD, To blindly defend a book because you "have done business with them for years" without looking at the facts, is the problem alot of people are having I think.
Especially all the bookie types in CR who always jump in to defend a bad move by a CR book.

I would not say I would "like that" but if it was in my rules, I sure would not stiff the player on his bonus because he let me hold his money for 30 days! I sure would not make up the rules as I went along, because someone "barely" (doesn't barely mean "met" the requirements?)
met the requirements.
The persons intentions are irrelevant imo, as he was following the rules. If the rules are not at the books desire they should change them.
Can you tell me what were the books intentions when they decided to stiff the player on the bonus???

I am not blindly defending the book as I read the whole thread & the details of the story & in my opinion I side with the book.
I actually trust 5 Dimes because of my relationship with them but even if I didn't have one just based on the facts of the story I feel they are correct in thinking this person was trying to take advantage of them. I do feel they need to clear up some language to prevent this problem in the future.
Maybe they should just pay the chump change & kick him out but then if they do that then will they have to do the same for every other person who does this?
The persons intentions are relevant because it tells alot about the story & paints a clearer picture. Anyone could realize that someone who is playing a casino game for hours straight then all of a sudden stops cold turkey for 29+ days to the exact time they can make a withdraw was looking to bonus whore & pick up free cash.
It isn't like he was playing sports & could easily be understood for playing at other books for better #'s. He knew what he was doing before he made the deposit & now is upset because his idea didn't work.
The owner of the directory who removed them even agreed that the person shouldn't be paid & I'm sure they made that assumption based on the facts & nothing more like I & others who defend 5 Dimes in this situation did.
