Obama's Homeland Security branch is actually shielding ISIS followers from investigators whose
job it is to keep these scumbags out.

I wouldn't doubt that shortly Obama will issue an executive order stating that its about time to
give ISIS diplomatic recognition.

The Pentagon delivered a warning Tuesday about the growth of the Islamic State offshoot in Afghanistan, saying the branch has become “more operationally active” there by carving out territory and openly fighting the Taliban.
The Defense Department report also said violence in Afghanistan overall is on the rise and the security situation has worsened since June, with more effective attacks by insurgents and increased casualties among Afghan security forces. The DOD said advances by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) – Khorasan Province (IS-KP) in particular could stoke “increased violence” with other extremist groups in 2016.
IS-KP “has progressed from its initial exploratory phase to a point where they are openly fighting the Taliban for the establishment of a safe haven, and are becoming more operationally active,” the report said.
The warning comes as President Obama tries to assure the public about the administration’s strategy for fighting the Islamic State, a military operation that focuses on Iraq and Syria.
“We are squeezing its heart and making it harder for them to pump out its propaganda,” Obama declared Monday at the Pentagon.
But the recent Paris and San Bernardino, Calif., attacks demonstrate the reach of ISIS’ ideology and threat beyond the Iraq-Syria warzone. The offshoot’s presence in Afghanistan represents another unstable area where the group is trying to establish a foothold.
The commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, General John Campbell, confirmed to The Associated Press on Tuesday that ISIS allies in Afghanistan indeed are trying to establish a regional base in the eastern city of Jalalabad
Campbell said that "foreign fighters" from Syria and Iraq had joined Afghans who had declared loyalty to the group in the eastern province of Nangarhar, bordering Pakistan.
He said there were also "indications" that the ISIS supporters in Nangarhar were trying to consolidate links with the group's leadership in Syria and Iraq.
This comports with the findings in the DOD report, which said IS-KP has “seized pockets of terrain from the Taliban in Nangarhar Province.”
The report also said the Taliban-led insurgency has been emboldened by the U.S.-led coalition's transition this year from direct combat operations to a train-and-advise role. The U.S. now has about 9,800 troops in Afghanistan.
The report noted IS-KP claimed responsibility for an IED attack against a United Nations vehicle in September and conducted an attack later that month against as many as 10 checkpoints.
According to the DOD, the offshoot is growing by recruiting “disaffected Taliban” and others.
During the summer months, Taliban and ISIS loyalists fought fierce battles in the far eastern districts of Nangarhar, with residents reporting a range of atrocities, including arbitrary imprisonment, forced marriages for young women, and beheadings.
Campbell stressed that “they don't have the capability right now to attack Europe, or attack the homeland, the United States. But that's what they want to do, they've said that's what they want to do."

[h=1]Pennsylvania teen with more than 50 pro-ISIS Twitter accounts who threatened to 'sever' Obama's head in the White House arrested in FBI raid[/h]
  • Jalil Ibn Ameer Aziz, 19, is alleged to have run 57 pro-ISIS Twitter accounts
  • One account claimed 'it is very easy to arm yourself' in Pennsylvania
  • Another account asked about the cost of buying a Yazidi 17-year-old girl
  • He has been charged with two counts of providing material support to ISIS
A Pennsylvania teenager who had more than 50 pro-ISIS Twitter accounts and threatened to behead US President Barack Obama inside the White House has been arrested by the FBI.
Jalil Ibn Ameer Aziz, 19, from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania was arrested after federal anti-terror agents raided the $122,000 three-bedroom home he shares with his parents after tracking down the IP address used on his allegedly pro-terror Twitter accounts.
According to documents lodged at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Aziz 'espouses violent jihadist beliefs and is a fervent supporter of a foreign terrorist organisation known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant'.

Federal investigators believe that 57 pro-ISIS twitter accounts were run from Aziz's home, pictured

Aziz is accused of conspiring with others to travel to Syria to fight with ISIS, while trying to radicalise and recruit others to his cause.
During a raid at his home on November 27, officers recovered 'a tactical-style backpack' in his closet. The bag contained 'five M4-style high-capacity magazines loaded with 5.56 ammunition, a modified kitchen knife with the handle removed'.

He also had a balaclava of a 'similar style worn by ISIS members to hide their identities'.
According to the affidavit Aziz pledged allegiance online to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of ISIS.
On January 29, using his @Colonel_Shami alias he allegedly tweeted: '#IS Know O Obama, that we are coming to America and know that we will sever your head in the White House'.

Several of the accounts, linked to an IP address based at Aziz's home, threatened acts of violence against the United States.
On March 21, 2015 he boasted using the alias @Baqiyaah201S: 'Pennsylvania have very light gun laws its very easy to arm yourself'.
He also allegedly asked online about buying a Yazidi woman as a sex slave.
According to court documents, Aziz enquired as to the cost of Yazidi women and explained he wanted one aged 17.

Aziz is currently being held in custody and has been charged with two counts of supporting terrorism

It is also alleged that Aziz posted the personal details, including the addresses of 100 US military members online.
The FBI believes that Aziz was in direct contact with ISIS members in the Middle East and passed one suspect, named CC-1 a Turkish phone number which was located close to the Syrian border.
'Law enforcement has confirmed that Aziz shared at least 74 direct messages with the Twitter account of CC-1 and at least 41 direct messages with CC-2 and other ISIL members from May 26, 2015 to May 27, 2015.
Aziz has been charged with two counts of attempting to provide material support to terrorists.
He is due to appear in court next week for a preliminary hearing and his currently being held in custody.
A message left at Aziz's home wasn't immediately returned Thursday. A hand-written sign tacked to the door said: 'No Comment No News! No Tresspassing.'
Court documents showed that Aziz needed 57 Twitter accounts because the social media company would regularly suspend his access because of the extremist nature of his posts.
A spokeswoman for Mayor of Harrisburg Eric Papenfuse said: 'The Mayor has been at the forefront of efforts to promote sensible gun laws, and it is even more alarming that alleged terrorists believe they can easily get guns in our state.
'The arrest of Mr. Aziz and his statements to ISIS sympathizers about the ease of acquiring weapons in Pennsylvania should be a wake-up call to lawmakers that something must be done soon to protect our citizens and make it more difficult for terrorists to get weapons.'

A message tacked to the door of the $122,000 home Aziz shares with his parents said 'No Comment No News!'

Assistant Attorney General John Carlin said: 'We will remain vigilant in our efforts to hold accountable any and all those who seek to provide material support to terrorists, and to disrupt potential attacks in the United States before they happen. 'According to the allegations in the complaint, Jalil Ibn Ameer Aziz conspired to provide and attempted to provide material support to ISIL by propagating their hateful rhetoric on social media and aiding individuals in their pursuit of traveling overseas to join the designated foreign terrorist organization
'A prior physical search of Aziz’s residence also revealed a tactical-style backpack in his closet, which contained high-capacity weapons magazines, ammunition, a knife, and other survival items. The National Security Division’s highest priority is counterterrorism, and we will remain vigilant in our efforts to hold accountable any and all those who seek to provide material support to terrorists, and to disrupt potential attacks in the United States before they happen.'
US Attorney Peter Smith said: 'The charges in this case focus on Aziz’s efforts to assist persons seeking to travel to and fight for the Islamic State. These charges are a testament to the perseverance and dedication of those who stand watch over our nation and a clear message that those who support terrorism – will face justice.'
Special Agent in Charge William Sweeney said: 'The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) will move with speed to detect and disrupt those who are involved in facilitation or operational planning in support of a terrorist organization.
'There is no difference between the two, and we will aggressively pursue every threat in order to protect our communities
'In this instance, Aziz operated quietly on behalf of the Islamic State and facilitated others looking to do the same.

I'm pretty sure there will be little or no more Islamic terrorist attacks for the rest of Obama's time in office.
These Muslim attacks have really bought down BO's approval ratings and I have little doubt that Obama has
sent down orders to his Islamic brothers in arms to cool it until after he's out of office, then they have his
permission to go full throttle again.

FBI: Young Pennsylvania Man Planned to Carry Out Terror Attack in U.S. (ABC News)
On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the arrest of Murray Friedman Stein Goldberg, 19, of Harrisburg, Pa., for preparing to conduct or assist in an attack in the U.S.
Goldberg also attempted to aid ISIS supporters in traveling to Syria to fight.
On Nov. 27, investigators found five loaded M4-style high-capacity magazines and other items inside a backpack Goldberg kept inside a closet.
Goldberg reportedly used at least 57 different Twitter accounts to spread pro-ISIS propaganda and advocate violence against the U.S. and its citizens.
Investigators determined that Goldberg posted a hyperlink containing identification information of 100 reported members of the U.S. military, calling for violence against them.

Guys just kidding. The scumbag's real name is
Jalil Ibn Ameer Aziz, naturally.

"65% of Helmand is now under Taliban control.

[h=1]Afghan police fear Taliban capture in Helmand's Sangin[/h]
Afghan police battling the Taliban in Helmand province say militants have laid siege to the police headquarters and supplies of ammunition are low.
Mohammad Dawood, police commander of Sangin district, said his officers had been surrounded, and, without urgent help, risked being "captured alive".
Helmand has seen fierce clashes in recent months, with large areas of the province being held by the Taliban.
Officials there have warned the whole of the southern province could fall.
In eastern Afghanistan, a suicide bomb attack on a US-Afghan patrol near Bagram airbase, in Parwan province, has killed five coalition soldiers, Reuters news agency reports.
Nato officials said the patrol had been targeted by an improvised device carried by a vehicle.
In a separate incident, the US embassy said a US citizen had been killed in the capital Kabul. Police told the BBC that a mullah killed Lisa Akbari while she was attending a local gym. The mullah has been arrested.

Helmand province is a key Taliban base and an area of opium cultivation - the province has seen some of the fiercest clashes between Nato-led forces and the Taliban.
More than 450 UK military personnel died during a 13-year combat mission in Afghanistan, including more than 100 in Sangin.
UK forces ended combat operations in October last year.
Police Commander Mohammad Dawood told the BBC's Mahfouz Zubaide via satellite phone: "The situation is very harsh... We haven't eaten for the past two days. If we don't get support in the next hour or so, our fighters will be captured alive."
"For the past two days we have been surrounded inside the police headquarters. No one can move out because the checkpoints along the roads are gone.
"We only have the police HQ under our control and have a battalion of the national army with us. The district office and the intelligence directorate are under enemy control."
A spokesman for the Helmand governor told the BBC that special forces had been deployed to the area.
Afghanistan's Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah held an emergency meeting with security ministers and pledged "immediate action" against the Taliban.
The Taliban have also come close to overrunning the neighbouring district of Gereshk, according to local media reports. Gereshk is strategically placed on the country's main circular highway.

Earlier, the deputy governor of Helmand complained of a lack of government support in an open letter on Facebook to President Ashraf Ghani.
Mohammad Jan Rasoulyar warned that the province could fall to the Taliban.
He said at least 90 soldiers had been killed in the latest fighting and claimed Mr Ghani's entourage was not telling him the reality of the situation.
"Helmand will collapse to the enemies and it's not like Kunduz, where we could launch an operation from the airport to retake it. That is just impossible and a dream," he said.
Muhammad Kareem Atal, the head of Helmand's provincial council, said in quotes carried by AP that about "65% of Helmand is now under Taliban control... in every district either we are stepping back or we are handing territory over to Taliban".
In recent months, Taliban insurgents have launched multiple offensives, stretching the Afghan army, which is short of reinforcements, fuel and ammunition.

[h=1]Taliban bomb kills six foreign soldiers in Afghanistan[/h]

A suicide vehicle bomb attack on a patrol near a base at Bagram in eastern Afghanistan has killed six foreign soldiers and injured six other people.
Nato, which leads the international force in Afghanistan, did not give the nationalities of the victims.
In a separate incident, the US embassy said a US citizen had been killed in the capital Kabul.
And in Helmand province, Taliban militants have laid siege to a police headquarters.
Some 12,000 foreign soldiers are deployed as part of the Resolute Support international coalition, which is meant to underpin Afghanistan's own security forces.
The soldiers taking part are from Nato states and Nato partners.
[h=2]'Motorcycle bomber'[/h]The attack at Bagram, the biggest US military facility in Afghanistan, happened at around 13:30 local time (09:00 GMT).
It appears the bomber was riding a motorcycle or another vehicle.
Brig Gen William Shoffner, head of public affairs at the Resolute Support base in Kabul, confirmed six deaths and said three foreign soldiers had also been wounded.
"We're deeply saddened by this loss," he said. "Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the families and friends of those affected in this tragic incident, especially during this holiday season."
A spokesman for the governor of Parwan province, where Bagram is located, told the BBC three Afghan police officers had also been wounded in the attack.
The Taliban said it had carried out the attack in statements to media.

Three explosions shook the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, near key ministries, embassies and residences. The attack comes hours after six NATO soldiers were killed near Bagram air base amidst a surge in Taliban violence.
Local police told Reuters that one of the missiles hit Massoud Square, adjacent to the well-fortified US embassy, and another landed in Shirpur Square, close to the sprawling presidential complex. A third rocket detonated further away from the heart of the city.
