Buffalo wins tonight simply because it makes more games have significant meaning next week and the NFL trying to avoid teams from laying down in the final weekend.

The conspiracy is not to let the Chiefs be the #1 seed for the 10th time in a row

Another conspiracy is the game next week when NYJ vs Miami. As I recalled, the year Matt Cassel replaced TBrady 2008, the NE finished the season 11-5 and was knocked out by Miami with same record and Miami advanced to playoff. In the final game when NYJ was leading by 2 scores late in the game, as soon NE won that game, NYJ gave up the game to Miami. They hated NE that time/HC Eric Mangini. just figure the out come next week if Buffaloes win tonight, it will a slight relief for the NE as Buff might rest some player. NE got a chance to win , but once again NYJ will be a spoiler. Miami will be a play next week

I remember that last game for the dolphins in 2008

It was a 4pm start.

game was scoreless after 1 quarter and the dolphins led at the end of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter.

hopefully the jets lay down this week (only if the bills beat the pats)

Yeah, I didn't recall that at all. Would've been a way bigger story if it unfolded that way.

Just looked it up, that Miami team won 9 of their last 10? NE drilled them and hung 48 with Cassel in the middle of it. Which I remember fondly because after the game Randy Moss said Cassel was playing some "hellified ball"

I would've guessed Miami started hot and then faded once teams figured out the wildcat. That's probably how most would have a recollection of that year.

The AFC East got to play the AFC West/NFC West that year and those divisions were terrible so NE/Miami both had really easy schedules.

I honestly think Cincinnati is the better team and getting points at home just seems absurd. Joey B is playing great lately. Don’t let my foolish thoughts deter you. Lol

Funny. I don’t recall the pats whooping them like that. I wonder if I went to that game as I can’t recall.

that season for the dolphins, I call it “the ball bounced the right way” as they were coming off their 1-15 schedule, had no significant injuries, and had a pretty weak schedule. Joey Porter had a pretty big year that year and Pennington finished 2nd or 3rd in mvp voting

Baltimore waxed them bad in that playoff game. Wasn’t even close.

No fuckin way Pennington finished 2nd or 3rd in MVP voting lol...I gotta look this up

That is bizarre...I get it was probably the most random NFL year of 21st century (along with 2017 when Foles/Keenum/Bortles in the final 4) but that's fucked up. Manning had a down year for him if anything, basically won by default.

Pennington was an awesome leader of the team.

Went from 1-15 in 07 to 11-5 in 08 and you knew that dynasty was about to start when Parcells took over that team!!

ugh

With that in mind did you go all in on the Bills tonight?
