Computer Help. Looking for drivers. indeed ~~

My cousin has Emachine 366i (it is an old computer).

Recently he rebuild with windows98 becaue he lost his Restore CD. But after he has rebuilt with window98, Video/monitor, modem, Sound Card drivers are missing.

if anyone has this CD or information, Please help me to find.
or If anyone ... know where i can find them.


YES/YES/YES, I called/emailed to Emachine C/S but they ain't help. they told me to surf internet. I was like "WHAT????"

Unfortunately you will have to look for them individually, but fortunately most are easy to find. Google would be an indispensable help in this quest, as would the websites of the individual hardware makers (in most cases they'll have the drivers you need available for a free download.)

If you could get at least the modem to work typically you can do the microsoft updates and if you are lucky they will be "right there"

That machine is a branded one, so you should be able to just go to the emachines website and download the drivers (At least most computer brands...compaq,dell etc have that option)

If the computer can't connect to the net, this is going to be a hassel. Concentrate on finding the modem driver above all others, but if its an e-machine, these sound card and modem are probably somehow integrated.

Go to my computer and device manager and try to find out what kind of modem it is i.e motorolla sb400. Use google to search that along with the word driver. Move the driver to the e-machine with a disk and install.
