I'm not a do gooder by nature and can be a crass A hole at times too but...I was speaking to my mom (80 yo) on the phone last night about the virus.
She's pretty much locked down in her home in Seattle luckly I have and brother and sister who can grocery shop for her pick up meds or whatever
I got me thinking about all the old folks or those with compromised immune system who don't have anyone out there to help in my community.
In this time if you know someone who needs help with small tasks out there in your community this might be the time you could be someones hero..fortunately I'm healthy and not really scared of catching the virus so this is what I did personally to help out...

"If you have an elderly friend or relative or someone with a compromised immune I'd be willing to do a grocery run or whatever after work for the next few days till I again leave LA.. I plan on doing the same when I get home to Seattle and South Beach.. just don't ask me to find toilet paper!
