Agree Pancho. Indy shot their wad in that huge revenge spot against Denver. KC is rested and ready with the best homefield advantage in the NFL. KC runs it up easily covering 3!

Indy Colts "Team Of Destiny" and all that hype, but anyway Manning gets it done.

Kansas City wins and covers. Home teams traditionally perform very well in the second round don't they? KC will have a couple more days of practice and should be 100% healthy.

Agreed. Either team can win on offense in this matchup ... KC's defense is absolutely horrid with the worst rush D in the league. The Chiefs' fans will likely prove to be a greater impediment to the Colts than their d-line will ... if Manning doesn't get rattled in this game, and Dungy shoves James down KC's throat, the Colts have a solid chance here. Myself, I'm staying away from this one.

One thing that is definately catching my eye is the fact that KC although undefeated at home this year, have not faced anyone of the caliber as that of the Colts. They did play Denver in week 5, but they trailed almost the entire game and needed a Dante Hall TD return to give them the lead and thus a one point win at home. I am alittle concerned, because their home field advantage or their confidence in it because of this years undefeated record, may turn out to be not so of an advantage. This based again on the weak opponents that they faced all year. The closest competition was against Denver. Indy will defenately be their biggest challenge at home this year. They better be ready for them, or else Indy could come in and get the upset. For now, need more time to view matchups in this one.

KC is a tough place to play. Having been to many games there, the crowd noise is like a college atmosphere. I think Vermeil and company will have some defensive stops and their offense can score with anyone. Indy on the road always seems to struggle more offensively. Lay the 3 and take KC......

packman - There was/is a sports radio show out of Carolina that I use to listen to online who had a guy named Packman. However, about 1-2 years ago they cut the live internet streaming so I couldn't listen to him anymore. I use to love the show. You wouldn't happen to be him would you?

Chiefs find a way to win at home. This game will come down to turnovers. KC's offense rarley turns the ball over. Payton Manning will think he is sitting front row at a heavy metal concert, as he trys to call out plays. Chiefs defense and their fans will prevail.

Really the Colts are playing better on the road this year than they are at the house. It's funny, I remember KC being a 10 point favorite back in Jan of 96 and the Colts went in and shocked KC 10-7. The play is really on the over. I'll say 99-98 Colts.

heh, my thoughts exactly Stalker-Dude. Could go over 75 anyways, might be the best play of the week. Most of these match-ups look like toss-ups to me when you throw in a 6-7 point line. Team to score last wins, Colts 38 Chiefs 35

INDY IS 7-1 THIS YEAR ON THE ROAD. POOR ROAD TEAM, HARDLY. THIS SAYS TWO IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT INDY. THEY CAN WIN AT HOSTILE PLACES. TWO, THEY ARE ROAD VETERANS.

PEOPLE ARE STILL SAYING THAT KC WIN EASILY, BECAUSE THEY ARE AT HOME. THE FACT IS THEY HAVE NOT FACED ANYONE AT HOME IN INDYS TALENT RANGE. CROWD NOISE, GOOD EXAMPLE OF HOW THEY ARE WELL EQUIPED AT HANDLING THIS. MONDAY NIGHT GAME IN TAMPA. I THINK WITH EACH TD, THE CROWD WAS GETTING LOUDER AND LOUDER. BUT STILL IT WAS A THE BETTER TEAM THAT KNOWS HOW TO DEAL WITH IT.

normally with home field, and yeah it gets pretty loud there, I'd give it to the Chefs, but that D has been looking aweful. anyone who says the Chiefs are going to spank 'em might have missed the Vikings game which was a real eye-opener to Chiefs backers like myself. Crowd noise was a huge factor in that game as well, however. Can Manning take the heat? He did it in Tampa Bay this year with that incredible come back, I wouldn't put it past him.

The Cheifs D has been pretty horrible. If you check the stats, the D is almost impressive at home. They can turn it up when they have to. They did get embarsed by the Vikings. The D also kept them in the game and allowed them to come back from a 17 point deficit at Lambeau. The Chiefs were the first team to ever come back from a 17 point deficit at Lambeau in the second half. This will be a shoot out but the chiefs will take away the ball when it counts.

Don't care for this game, nor total, but all RXers sitting on KC to rep AFC Futures @ 8/1, must consider the hedge..still chewing.

everyones got to crawl before they learn how to walk, then walk before they learn how to run.
teams who get into the playoffs for the first time, or after long absenses must lose at each round(in most instances) before they can advance to the next round.
the same goes with players, especially qb's.
after a big win like payton had vs denver, he crashes back to earth this weekend.

indianapolis 21 kansas city 32

GAME.
