It’s always nice to see two relatively slow teams take the court for our Under bets. Colorado State (Over 7-6-1) ranks No. 200 in Adjusted Tempo out of the 363 Division I teams on Ken Pomeroy’s efficiency charts; Nevada (Over 8-6) ranks No. 233 overall.
On the flip side, both these Mountain West teams are better at offense than defense. But what Colorado State lacks the most – perimeter defense – isn’t in Nevada’s wheelhouse. The Wolf Pack are in the middle of the road when it comes to 3-point shooting; they’re much better at the charity stripe, where once again, the Rams are average when it comes to allowing free throws.
