I'm not betting it but I wouldn't take the second half over. They scored 35 points in the first half but 14 were on kickoff returns and 14 off of turnovers and short fields. Basically one touchdown has been scored on a true drive. The game will likely go over and the second half under.

yep i like the over in teh 2nd half

All I'm saying is that I have seen it many times when the under is being pounded and then nothing but screw ups and fumbles, int's, etc. leading to scores. Basing plays on the weather is about as useful as flipping a coin.

Or fumbles, ints etc stopping drives leading to zero.

I agree basing plays on rain is like flipping a coin... but when the wind is howling, the UNDER is smiling.

CU -7
CU/CSU over 28

Both 2nd half

I expect CU's offense to get it going in 2nd half with more explosive plays. Everybody thinks rain will keep it under but rain benefits offense more with the route running.

The wind is the ONLY thing that I think affects the game enough to cause someone to even think about playing something because of the weather. I have seen many, many games where the under gets pounded and the total brought down only to see the game go way over because of fumble and interception after fumble and interception.

Have to believe special teams play will be MUCH better 2nd half after an asschewing in the locker room. Without a short field do not see how CSU will be able to put together 10 play 80 yard drives as their offense is mediocre at best. Running game for Colorado will come into play 2nd half as they averaged 7 ypc.
Glad I teased total to 63.5 gives me breathing room.

Good Luck guys on those 2nd half bets.

IMHO

The offensive guy knows where he is going, planned cuts.
D has to react and a slick field affects them both but more for D

POURING rain is a different animal
