What does everyone think ? 7.5 wins definitely over big time

Denver, I bow to Conan when it comes to the pac, but I'll share my opinion.

Can Colorado win 8 games - absolutely.

Is it likely - not in my opinion.

Despite last season's success, Colorado has not recruited well the last 5 years. Their last recruiting class was respectable - rated 32 by Rivals. The previous 4 classes ranked 65, 70, 63 and 67.

While Texas State and Northern Colorado are sure wins, USC and Washington are sure losses.

I don't like their chances against Colorado State despite being 8 points favorites. Col St will have a game under their belt and that will be huge.

I also don't like their chances against UCLA, Washington State and Utah. For them to win 8 they have to win two of those games and all the rest. With their talent - or lack thereof - I just don't see it happening.

Would lean under 7.5. I think they regress back to the mean this year.

I agree with the regression theory and took Colo State +8. Connely has CSU ranked ahead of the Buffs who have lost a ton of talent to graduation so getting 8 on a neutral field is appealing. Would have preferred this being Rams first game so they could focus as the season opener in their new stadium against Oregon State will get their attention.

Losses: 1) UW, 2) @ Ucla, 3) @ Wazzu, 4) Usc.
Toss Ups: 1) @ Ore St, 2) @ ASU, 3) @ Utah.
I'll give them wins vs ore st and asu. Schedule sets up ok as it gives them time to adjust and improve for the second half of the season toss up games.
Very very simplistic and crude way of looking at it but wins are ultimately absolute numbers.
7-5? Hard to say.
Lean to under as someone pointed out that the Col st game won't be easy... Pac 12 schedules are so brutal... they don't get enough credit imo.
