After a long season, we have finally arrived at week 14 of the college football schedule, and with the annual Army vs. Navy bowl the only game that is scheduled for next week, this is the final chance for some of the top teams in the nation to secure their seasons. While the No. 1 LSU Tigers look to secure their spot in the BCS national title game as they fight the No. 14 Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC championship game, the No. 3 Oklahoma State Cowboys and No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners still have the chance to make some noise in the BCS as they clash in the Big 12 championship game as part of a busy weekend in college football for the per head players.

The fact that the pay head bookies have slotted the Tigers as 13.5-point favorites for this game is testament to how well they have played this year. LSU has the chance to complete their perfect season and reach the BCS national title game with one more win, and after blowing away the previously No. 3 Arkansas Razorbacks last week it is hard to imagine they will not be able to do the same against the Bulldogs. Georgia has reached he SEC championship game on the strength of a strong defense and a favorable schedule, but it’s hard to forget losses to Boise State and South Carolina earlier this year. While the Bulldogs’ defense has been strong, LSU has the better units on both sides of the ball and will be in this game to finish what they started en route to a national championship.

While Oklahoma State might still not have enough votes to reach the national title game even with a win over the rival Sooners, the Cowboys will be gunning for an impact result as they try and finish strong. Oklahoma hasn’t lost to its in-state rivals in nine years, and they won’t want to let it happen in the Big 12 title game. The Sooners however will be without top rusher Dominique Whaley and wide receiver Ryan Broyles, and Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy could be smelling blood in the water with the chance to notch his first win in this rivalry for the players that take them minus the points with the price per head bookies

The football Gods had to be smiling down on the Big Ten when this matchup came to light after these teams combined for 68 points in a memorable first meeting. The idea of Kirk Cousins’ firing another Hail Mary touchdown pass to Keith Nichol, or Montee Ball exploding for another big run has to have Big Ten fans fired up, but the price per head services bookies have the line at nine, which is kind of high for a game that was actually won by the underdog in their first meeting, especially considering Michigan State finished their season with 10 straight wins.
