An important weekend of college basketball sports betting went down last weekend, and while there were those that made out with a monster profit, there were always those that lost out big time. The No. 3 Missouri Tigers and No. 5 Kansas Jayhawks both remain in contention for a Big 12 title following big wins last weekend, and after another disappointing loss to Missouri last weekend, it almost seems as though it is over for the No. 10 Baylor Bears this price per head sports season.

Right now the focus is holding on to a spot in the top-25, and if they can limit their losses for the entire season to just those two teams they should be in good position when the 2012 March Madness betting tournament gets underway later on this year. Kansas State gave the Bears a good fight at home earlier on this season, but they will have a tougher time winning this one on the road.

The Big 12 could come down to the final meeting between the Jayhawks and Tigers, but for now Kansas will be focused on the task at hand, which is extending its home winning streak to eight-straight games and remaining in contention for that top spot. Texas Tech has not won a Big 12 road game so far this season, and it is unlikely they will get their first against one of the conference’s pay head favorites.
