I disagree with him on Indy and Buffalo and I have no opinion on the other 3. I don't know if I have the courage to bet the Titans though. The line movement screams for me to take the Titans but, man, I might need some anxiety medication if I do. That is a tight line.

Blazing 5:

Browns +8
Jaguars +10
Texans +6.5
Bills -5.5
Bears +3

As a Texans fan and season ticket holder, I see a lot that goes on with Houston. We have some issues - mainly against the pass but even our defense is playing suspect. Our offensive line is a problem right now. Our quarterback is very mediocre. I'd be very careful if you decide to take the Texans here. Matt Ryan is a passer and a good one at that - that's the exact type of QB we have trouble with. We barely beat arguably the worst team in football - bucs. The entire game was close...it was ugly. Be careful on picking the Texans right now.

Those are Cowherds plays.......but I see what you're saying.

On the other hand, Atlanta can't be trusted in these situations......they've been in them too many times & come up empty.

If I take the Texans, its not a play on them as much as its a play against the Falcons.

Yeah I knew they were Cowherds plays. I figured people would follow them. Throwing caution against the wind because the Texans have a lot of issues this year and we could barely scrape a win vs the bucs. I agree with you on the Falcons but you also have to consider the team they are facing as well. I haven't really researched the Falcons in this spot but I do know about the Texans. May or may not play this game, too early for me to tell. BOL!

I was leaning Buffalo all week and felt even better after Cowherd had Buffalo minus the points..BUT...Did Cowherd make this pick BEFORE LeSean McCoy(RB) and Sammy Watkins(WR) were ruled out? I'm showing public $$$ on the Giants right now. Did these injuries even affect the point spread? (i don't think it really did according to what i see). What do you guys think about Buffalo SU and ATS this weekend?

RJ Bell has had a good run so far this NFL season, going (2-1) last week, and (9-3) , or 75% overall with his picks. Impressive, right? Let’s see if it continues in Week 5…

Underdog Special: St. Louis Rams +9.5 vs. Green Bay Packers.............The Rams look much improved this year, and Green Bay still looks like one of the best teams in the league. To beat the Packers, the Rams need to be able to run, and pressure Aaron Rogers without blitzing; two things that St. Louis is cap of.

Best Bet: Oakland Raiders +4.5 vs. Denver Broncos

Choosing the Raiders always seems like a bad idea, and Bronzos are a “football sexy” team, as RJ called them. However, Peyton Manning is beginning to show his age. Raiders Head Coach Jack Del Rio was also the Broncos’ interim coach last year, so he understands that team very well.

Big Game (MNF): San Diego Chargers -3 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers have had a frustrating season so far. Big Ben is out, Michael Vick is in, who is no longer considered elite. The Steelers are also poor on the road and outside their time zone against the spread. San Diego hasn’t been playing that well, but their offensive line is getting healthy, which should be a factor
