I have a coinbase account but really have not used it much. I attempted to send someone some Bitcoin yesterday and was told I have to do the ID verify first before being allowed to transfer money, so I will be doing that this week sometime and will let you know what happens. I guess I do not understand how BTC is considered private.
Never had this problem at coinbase.. if u buy Bitcoin or litecoin .. or whatever make sure not to leave it on coinbase.. move it to a private wallet like myceleum or one like that ... And for goodness sake set up your 12 phrase backup in case u lose password .. nobody will send u a password reset if u lose it for your wallet
I finally got my ID verified. Then I make a deposit with bank. They put a friggin 27 day hold on it. It says 3-5 days on their website, so this is crazy. The site also says that credit/debit cards are instant, but my weekly limit is $50. That's crazy because my credit card limit was $1000 BEFORE I was verified. I talked with someone through email and they are going to have a "specialist" look at my account see if they can reducethe hold time.
