Co Captain,
The couple of Years I have been on here, I have not been interested in your YTDs or your plays specifically. What I have always found
worth reading was
your opinions, and
for them you have to be praised. Whether you have gone Tout or not isnt the issue, people should pay if they think its worthwhile, any comments on a free Forum by you shouldnt be challenged, unless you make untruthful comment.

Capt,
Good luck to you. I tried to email you and didn't get a reply.
I have never seen any bad info from you here even before you asked for $$$ for your plays. I think people are pisted that you used to post here for free and now they can't get your advice unless they put up.
Cash em!!!

hey capt.you know i have been thinking, why did i even say those things to you in your other thread.i have no reason to do that,i know of you from before on here and i seen you somewhere else but basically you have never done anything to me so it was wrong of me to attack you the way i did.
all you ever did was help me before on here and no i don't fade your plays at all but i guess what it comes down to is maybe its beacuse you left here and became a so called pay service.and thats your own business so please accept my apoligies for some stupid comments.

Saw you at "the other big site" (don't say the "C" word!) and glad you're over here, but it looks like some of the haters have also merged over here. That's a shame.
I think you're great and you just keep doing what you do.
I will gladly follow your lead, and
LOVE your write-ups. You are a leader among men, and have more patience than I would have with the BS

Glad to see you back.
Nice writeup as usual. I love CMU this game however. The game was closer than the final was last year. I have been following the CMU program pretty closely for the past couple of years and are poised to make the next step, Seymore, or no Seymore. Hoeppner is familar with the CMU program having coached at Miami Ohio. He has given the IU program a major boost. With the quarterback situation IU has, I had to take CMU.
Good luck CC and
hope to see more of your writeups.

CoCap - Followed your picks yesterday on
CBB and
made pretty good cash -
Great picks - parlayed your 2 (or 3, can't remember) and hit that too. That is what is scaring me now - already in fairly large on the under. Just can't see these defenses giving up that much. As always -
really appreciate your writeups and best of luck to you.

Co-Captain,
First of all ,
congrats on the New England game and
your posting since I have been on the RX. Regardless of your plays,
your time and commitment to this Forum is exemplary, long may it last.
Just as a point of view, I class myself as a careful player but I find it odd that someone of your knowledge would bet teasers.
Dont take this as a slight, its just people who bet teasers usually have no confidence in their picks, hence looking for the extra cover.
I feel that your knowledge of the game, you should be going for the throat

you are obviously a very good person.
i'm extremely happy that you are a part of the family here -- for both your thoughtful assistance and your extremely cognizant capping.
i've learned more in this thread than i have in the 25 yrs of working this Godforsakken business. your tulsa dilemma, was exactly the kind of thing i've been talking about. at times, it even hurts when you add or scale back on your initial investments, let alone change them all together.
once again, thank you!

Taking the day off today but wanted to stop by the forum and once again
extend my appreciation to you for all your hard work in
providing information to the forum. The responses you are receiving even after a tough night should show you how much
your fellow posters respect you. Wishing you all the best
my friend and continued good luck with your plays.
Captain:
I meant to say this to you but it slipped this oldmans mind this morning.
What you bring to this forum is much greater than wins and losses. It is
the sincerity that you show to all your fellow posters that far outweighs the results of games.
You have been there for me on numerous occasions and many, many other posters as well and we owe you our gratitude for that and be rest assured that this oldman never forgets. So regardless of how you may be doing in your handicapping, it is
your personality that brings so much to the forum. I wish you continued good luck, but more than that, I wish you well in being the person that you
truly display on this forum. Be well
my friend.

JC, the other day you were in hoops thread bashing him, now you are hear bashing co-captain...I have some advice for you...LEAVE THE RX? we are trying to help people here...
If I worked as hard as Co-captain I may get irritated too when people come into my thread with insults...why cant you start your own threads or remain positive...perhaps be kind...& friendly...why is it that you feel you have the right to come in & try to bash & discredit anyone...'apparently' you make a living at doing this but you dont even have the balls to share your plays with the board...YOU ARE NOT A MAN...

Well, I'm glad I posted mine before you posted yours, or I could have been accused of copying
Even so, since you also think so highly of it, I am going to raise my play to a 15*. Best of luck today, as always.

Can yo give me some insight on the canisius and niagra game. U have a 6team parlay going, buying 3pts each and so far I am doing well...Kentucky -2, Iona -4.5, Canisius +15.5, Michigan -7.5, Fordham +21 and Tulsa +1.5. I am just curious about canisius because they played niagra tough the first time and I would like to know the chance of niagra covering 15.5 pts.
Help please.

Great info CC - can you post here the teams each day for their last home gams (or the link). I had come across a system that Marc Lawrence had. You take the home team in the last home game, coming off two SU and ATS losses.
Wish I had saw it sooner yesterday because I would have pounded Toledo.
Thanks, and good luck.

CC,
Thanks. I just read your response to Dano's thread. Reading that just
shows the type of person you are. I don't know anything about you beyond your write ups, but to me they tell alot
. IMO, you're the best capper in college BB this forum has. That's not because you come out
winning week in and week out, but because you're in it for the right reasons
. Everybody who puts time into this site needs to remember that we're in this together. It ain't no competition. I understand why we would post records but I don't agree doing it to one up one another. It may not be like that right now, and I hope it doesn't get like that either.

co captain, I very much enjoy your insight into the NCAAF & NCAAB worlds....After seeing the last 10 minutes of the first half yesterday I decided to run with BYU over 34.5 points for the 2nd...
got the cash even though I had initially been on UTAH..I don't have any records but I do know this..
from the times that I have opened yoour thread you have had considerably more 'winning' days than you have had 'losing'..IMHO, naysayers should be careful....do not forget also my friend, people may come in here & purposely may try to stir the pot becauz they know it is easy to ilicit a response from you...if you come back at them with Courtesy...they will then feel silly & 'hopefully' go away...

there will always be someone that will try to sour it for the rest of us....
I could care less what your record is, and
I think most of us feel the same way,
we like to see you win,
thats all that matters. Ride the wave, keep winning, ignore the occasional bozo the clown and lets go baby.

tough one cap, but keep ur head up
you've been on one hell of a roll. lets start another one on wed.
i just hope all this other b/s has not distracted u from doing what u do best, cap the games and if i were u i would be like a horse with blinders on and ignore all the other crap like wasting time to go over all ur records and replying to guys who want u to post in other threads, this takes time away from what u do best.90% of the people here r cool,
the rest have agendas that i do not understand and it seems as if they r not getting all the attention then they must start something to try to get it,but do they realize they r making an ass out of them self's....just my two cents..

dude, i juast wanted to say that
your picks are always amazing. i recently got into NCAA (i've done NFL for about the past 3 years now), when my guy left town mid-NFL season, i registered with an online account and decided to amp up my winnings and gain some info. towards bracket-buster time.
your picks have made the
transition towards NCAA so much easier for me. i always watched hoops and even played in college, but capping the games is a totally different beast.
you make it simple and
you make it informative.
keep it up along with the other
$$$ guys around here (kodiak, NY, green, oldman, lewis, to name a few). it never goes unappreciated.
this is my first post, and because i am usually lousy at capping my own games (did take pitt small, but im a homer) and probably have a miniscule roll compared to the majority (less than a dime), i doubt i post any personal plays. but
i thought id convey my thanks. keep up the great work.

Hey, man, I was just relating to a lot of the things you're saying. I used to do write-ups, and still do for college football because I have more time to get them written. Had to give them up in basketball, though, just couldn't get it done everyday. Very time consuming. That's why I just post my plays now, except for a brief comment now and then. Anyway, if you don't have time to do your whole thing, I've
love to still see
your plays, with or
without write-ups.
You are just very solid and
consistent, and
it's always good to know what
teams you're on.

First post.....been following this forum for a couple months & have made some $$$ doing so, so
let me add my thanks too. I'd just add one point--and this goes for all the solid cappers here who are good enough to share their daily thoughts & insights on games.
Once you've established that you know your stuff & do your homework, the write-ups (while definitely appreciated/great to read/and helpful) are NOT as big a deal as the picks.
So, co-cap, I guess I'm saying
that if you continue to post plays, if you feel as confident about them as you do now,
you've earned the credibility to just post them, skip the write-ups, and let the numbers speak for themselves. Just a thought, &
thanks again.

Captain:
I haven't been reading a lot of threads lately and just decided to take a glance at yours today only to learn of your current situation.
Cap, I think you already know how I feel about what you do for this forum and everyone is clearly expressing those same feelings. That being said, this business can wear you down rapidly when you give so much. If you need time to attend to other matters, they should get your most immediate attention first and foremost. If you are able to take care of those things that are important in life and still find time for this forum that would be great. However, if you find that you are spending too much time and effort in determining your plays, posting write-ups, and responding to everyone, then protect yourself first. The forum will always be here if and when you're ready.
You don't have to prove anything to anyone. If you decide to post your plays, then do so. No write-up is necessary to justify a selection. If you want to provide a write-up on a particular game, then do that as well provided it doesn't wear you down.
The members and viewers that follow you already know the work that you put behind your plays and they believe in you. Most importantly, take care of yourself, your health, family matters and anything else that needs your attention. Please take care my friend and if you need to talk, you have my e-mail address
. If you have misplaced my address, just let me know and I will e-mail you again.
I am here for you if you need me. Be well Captain.

I would like to congratulate you on is your high win % considering the number of games that you play...it is easy to be higher if you play only 1-2 games a day but when you are playing a big card it is so much harder...

Cap-Great job. You notice that when you post early you kick-ass. Maybe it's just me, but
I love seeing your games early. I think too many guys just wait and have their minds changed throughout the day on who they should take. Whether they go against the consensus or not. I know you've had a lot of stuff going on, so it's hard. But I tell you when you post early and go with your first instincts, you are right on! Continue with what your doing,
