Co Captain,

The couple of Years I have been on here, I have not been interested in your YTDs or your plays specifically. What I have always found worth reading was your opinions, and for them you have to be praised. Whether you have gone Tout or not isnt the issue, people should pay if they think its worthwhile, any comments on a free Forum by you shouldnt be challenged, unless you make untruthful comment.

Capt,

Good luck to you. I tried to email you and didn't get a reply. I have never seen any bad info from you here even before you asked for $$$ for your plays. I think people are pisted that you used to post here for free and now they can't get your advice unless they put up.

Cash em!!!

hey capt.you know i have been thinking, why did i even say those things to you in your other thread.i have no reason to do that,i know of you from before on here and i seen you somewhere else but basically you have never done anything to me so it was wrong of me to attack you the way i did.all you ever did was help me before on here and no i don't fade your plays at all but i guess what it comes down to is maybe its beacuse you left here and became a so called pay service.and thats your own business so please accept my apoligies for some stupid comments.

Saw you at "the other big site" (don't say the "C" word!) and glad you're over here, but it looks like some of the haters have also merged over here. That's a shame. I think you're great and you just keep doing what you do. I will gladly follow your lead, and LOVE your write-ups. You are a leader among men, and have more patience than I would have with the BS. Many mahalos to you for that which you do.

Peace!

CC - Glad to see you back. Nice writeup as usual. I love CMU this game however. The game was closer than the final was last year. I have been following the CMU program pretty closely for the past couple of years and are poised to make the next step, Seymore, or no Seymore. Hoeppner is familar with the CMU program having coached at Miami Ohio. He has given the IU program a major boost. With the quarterback situation IU has, I had to take CMU.

Good luck CC and hope to see more of your writeups.

CoCap - Followed your picks yesterday on CBB and made pretty good cash - Great picks - parlayed your 2 (or 3, can't remember) and hit that too. That is what is scaring me now - already in fairly large on the under. Just can't see these defenses giving up that much. As always - really appreciate your writeups and best of luck to you. You are class. Gotta go check out your BB ticket now.

Co-Captain,

First of all , congrats on the New England game and your posting since I have been on the RX. Regardless of your plays, your time and commitment to this Forum is exemplary, long may it last.
Just as a point of view, I class myself as a careful player but I find it odd that someone of your knowledge would bet teasers.

Dont take this as a slight, its just people who bet teasers usually have no confidence in their picks, hence looking for the extra cover.
I feel that your knowledge of the game, you should be going for the throat

captain,

thank you for sharing your well thought out deliberations. they seemed very heart-felt and sincere. you are obviously a very good person.

i'm extremely happy that you are a part of the family here -- for both your thoughtful assistance and your extremely cognizant capping.

i've learned more in this thread than i have in the 25 yrs of working this Godforsakken business. your tulsa dilemma, was exactly the kind of thing i've been talking about. at times, it even hurts when you add or scale back on your initial investments, let alone change them all together.
once again, thank you!

Captain:

Taking the day off today but wanted to stop by the forum and once again extend my appreciation to you for all your hard work in providing information to the forum. The responses you are receiving even after a tough night should show you how much your fellow posters respect you. Wishing you all the best my friend and continued good luck with your plays.

Captain:

I meant to say this to you but it slipped this oldmans mind this morning. What you bring to this forum is much greater than wins and losses. It is the sincerity that you show to all your fellow posters that far outweighs the results of games. You have been there for me on numerous occasions and many, many other posters as well and we owe you our gratitude for that and be rest assured that this oldman never forgets. So regardless of how you may be doing in your handicapping, it is your personality that brings so much to the forum. I wish you continued good luck, but more than that, I wish you well in being the person that you truly display on this forum. Be well my friend.

JC, the other day you were in hoops thread bashing him, now you are hear bashing co-captain...I have some advice for you...LEAVE THE RX? we are trying to help people here...If I worked as hard as Co-captain I may get irritated too when people come into my thread with insults...why cant you start your own threads or remain positive...perhaps be kind...& friendly...why is it that you feel you have the right to come in & try to bash & discredit anyone...'apparently' you make a living at doing this but you dont even have the balls to share your plays with the board...YOU ARE NOT A MAN...

co-captain..as I said to you earlier...simply ignore the naysayers...your work speaks for itself & win or Lose 90% of us support your work & APPRECIATE it.

CC, nice day so far. Finalizing my late picks right now, looks like we'll have many of the same teams. Don't know why, but I see lots of good road chalk today. Kentucky, Purdue, Cuse, Texas, Pacific, etc.

JC, not sure how your argument with CC started, but he has been posting here for a long time and I rarely see him argue with other posters. CC has been posting lots of winners recently, why pollute his threads with your attacks?

Well, I'm glad I posted mine before you posted yours, or I could have been accused of copying Even so, since you also think so highly of it, I am going to raise my play to a 15*. Best of luck today, as always.

Can yo give me some insight on the canisius and niagra game. U have a 6team parlay going, buying 3pts each and so far I am doing well...Kentucky -2, Iona -4.5, Canisius +15.5, Michigan -7.5, Fordham +21 and Tulsa +1.5. I am just curious about canisius because they played niagra tough the first time and I would like to know the chance of niagra covering 15.5 pts. Help please.

Great info CC - can you post here the teams each day for their last home gams (or the link). I had come across a system that Marc Lawrence had. You take the home team in the last home game, coming off two SU and ATS losses. Wish I had saw it sooner yesterday because I would have pounded Toledo. Thanks, and good luck.

CC,

Thanks. I just read your response to Dano's thread. Reading that just shows the type of person you are. I don't know anything about you beyond your write ups, but to me they tell alot. IMO, you're the best capper in college BB this forum has. That's not because you come out winning week in and week out, but because you're in it for the right reasons. Everybody who puts time into this site needs to remember that we're in this together. It ain't no competition. I understand why we would post records but I don't agree doing it to one up one another. It may not be like that right now, and I hope it doesn't get like that either.

GLTA. Cap, keep doing what you do.

co captain, I very much enjoy your insight into the NCAAF & NCAAB worlds....After seeing the last 10 minutes of the first half yesterday I decided to run with BYU over 34.5 points for the 2nd...got the cash even though I had initially been on UTAH..I don't have any records but I do know this..from the times that I have opened yoour thread you have had considerably more 'winning' days than you have had 'losing'..IMHO, naysayers should be careful....do not forget also my friend, people may come in here & purposely may try to stir the pot becauz they know it is easy to ilicit a response from you...if you come back at them with Courtesy...they will then feel silly & 'hopefully' go away...

Co Captain, again thanks for your selections, from experience I will tell you that there will always be someone here asking you for proof of this proof of that, there will always be someone that will try to sour it for the rest of us....

I could care less what your record is, and I think most of us feel the same way, we like to see you win, thats all that matters. Ride the wave, keep winning, ignore the occasional bozo the clown and lets go baby.

Again thanks.

CoCap,

Good job and I hope you continue to be an asset to this forum. I may not post plays or respond that often butI do follow yours and others plays and have been making money. Thanks for your time and effort! Anyone with the least bit of sense can see thatyou have been killing it. It does not make a fu*k what you call your plays or how many you give out. If they win like they do who cares? Some people on her are the biggest waste of space on the planet and they probably aren't bright enough to know who they are. KEEP UP THWE GOOD WORK AND KEEP THE WINNERS COMING THROUGH MARCH.

tough one cap, but keep ur head up you've been on one hell of a roll. lets start another one on wed. i just hope all this other b/s has not distracted u from doing what u do best, cap the games and if i were u i would be like a horse with blinders on and ignore all the other crap like wasting time to go over all ur records and replying to guys who want u to post in other threads, this takes time away from what u do best.90% of the people here r cool, the rest have agendas that i do not understand and it seems as if they r not getting all the attention then they must start something to try to get it,but do they realize they r making an ass out of them self's....just my two cents..

dude, i juast wanted to say that your picks are always amazing. i recently got into NCAA (i've done NFL for about the past 3 years now), when my guy left town mid-NFL season, i registered with an online account and decided to amp up my winnings and gain some info. towards bracket-buster time.

your picks have made the transition towards NCAA so much easier for me. i always watched hoops and even played in college, but capping the games is a totally different beast. you make it simple and you make it informative.

keep it up along with the other $$$ guys around here (kodiak, NY, green, oldman, lewis, to name a few). it never goes unappreciated.

this is my first post, and because i am usually lousy at capping my own games (did take pitt small, but im a homer) and probably have a miniscule roll compared to the majority (less than a dime), i doubt i post any personal plays. but i thought id convey my thanks. keep up the great work.

Hey, man, I was just relating to a lot of the things you're saying. I used to do write-ups, and still do for college football because I have more time to get them written. Had to give them up in basketball, though, just couldn't get it done everyday. Very time consuming. That's why I just post my plays now, except for a brief comment now and then. Anyway, if you don't have time to do your whole thing, I've love to still see your plays, with or without write-ups. You are just very solid and consistent, and it's always good to know what teams you're on.

First post.....been following this forum for a couple months & have made some $$$ doing so, so let me add my thanks too. I'd just add one point--and this goes for all the solid cappers here who are good enough to share their daily thoughts & insights on games. Once you've established that you know your stuff & do your homework, the write-ups (while definitely appreciated/great to read/and helpful) are NOT as big a deal as the picks.

So, co-cap, I guess I'm saying that if you continue to post plays, if you feel as confident about them as you do now, you've earned the credibility to just post them, skip the write-ups, and let the numbers speak for themselves. Just a thought, & thanks again.

Captain:

I haven't been reading a lot of threads lately and just decided to take a glance at yours today only to learn of your current situation. Cap, I think you already know how I feel about what you do for this forum and everyone is clearly expressing those same feelings. That being said, this business can wear you down rapidly when you give so much. If you need time to attend to other matters, they should get your most immediate attention first and foremost. If you are able to take care of those things that are important in life and still find time for this forum that would be great. However, if you find that you are spending too much time and effort in determining your plays, posting write-ups, and responding to everyone, then protect yourself first. The forum will always be here if and when you're ready. You don't have to prove anything to anyone. If you decide to post your plays, then do so. No write-up is necessary to justify a selection. If you want to provide a write-up on a particular game, then do that as well provided it doesn't wear you down. The members and viewers that follow you already know the work that you put behind your plays and they believe in you. Most importantly, take care of yourself, your health, family matters and anything else that needs your attention. Please take care my friend and if you need to talk, you have my e-mail address. If you have misplaced my address, just let me know and I will e-mail you again. I am here for you if you need me. Be well Captain.

Cap-Great job. You notice that when you post early you kick-ass. Maybe it's just me, but I love seeing your games early. I think too many guys just wait and have their minds changed throughout the day on who they should take. Whether they go against the consensus or not. I know you've had a lot of stuff going on, so it's hard. But I tell you when you post early and go with your first instincts, you are right on! Continue with what your doing, you're the man! All due respect. Rules or no rules, had the site been up, this would be a non issue. Not implying that it was something that they could control, but, if people want his plays, and they weren't able to get them because this site was down (for hours and hours), they should be able to get them.

Co-Capt,

Do you do this for a living, or is this just a serious hobby? Congrats on your excellent run through the final 7 weeks. This is by farthe best I've ever done in Basketball and I owe part of that to your picks
. It was always very re-assuring to see a side of a game I liked and check your picks (as well as some others) and see you on it for 6 units. It worked out more times than it didn't I'll tell you that! That 15-3 run Friday was impressive. I see you had a "market Correction" yesterday, but that will happen. Contiunued good luck to you in the Ncaa's. It should be fun.

CC, I faded your UConn pick and paid the price, but won on the over, so no blood, just juice. Great run to end the season, Bro.
Thanks for the picks and for putting up with your detractors. I will never understand why people talk trash in another capper's thread. If you don't like someone's picks, or if you think they are a fraud, just do your own thing and don't read the threads! What good does it do to try to bring a brother down? Do they think they are "saving" the rest of the readers by calling you out? Your record speaks for itself, CC. I guess some people have nothing better to do than to try to stir something up and create some excitement in their lives to fill the bitter void created by their gambling losses.

Mahalo, and See you in football season, CC.

CC,
You are the best. You are 100% forgiven for any tirades you went on last week. I had a few myself, just not at the Rx. I am on every one of your plays. I like both unders and I'm playing the two best teams remaining. I hope we have the luxury of debating which of these two will win it all, come Mon.

Thanks for the time and effort you put into your writeups. And thanks for being a class-act. Good luck tonight, and don't drink to much. We don't want a heading when it is time to cap Monday's game.

You're welcome. I know you have put an enormous amount of time and energy into providing information, insight and selections for your fellow members, posters, and viewers, and I only thought it responsible to recognize and express my appreciation to you for that effort. We have discussed many times sharing information on this forum in order to help everyone have successful seasons against the books. Again no harm ment. I love the work you do and you have helped me win alot of money this year. You know the in's and out's of your local boys and with myself seeing Michigan 19 times in person this year I know a little about them. The outcome of this game did not matter to me money wise because I did not play it as stated in previous post. It also did'nt surprise me. Thanks and good luck the rest of the year

All due respect. Rules or no rules, had the site been up, this would be a non issue. Not implying that it was something that they could control, but, if people want his plays, and they weren't able to get them because this site was down (for hours and hours), they should be able to get them.

Cap, your write-up was excellent. The time and effort that you spend researching and evaluating the match-ups is beyond compare. You, my friend, are a wonderful assest to this forum and provide great insight for the members and viewers. I am very happy to see the success that you had in February and hope that it continues in March all the way through the NCAA Championship.

With all the work that you do for this forum and the hours that you are working to evaluate and produce your write-ups, you deserve to reap the reward. co captain, I very much enjoy your insight into the NCAAF & NCAAB worlds...don't have any records but I do know this..from the times that I have opened yoour thread you have had considerably more 'winning' days than you have had 'losing'

IMHO, naysayers should be careful....

do not forget also my friend, people may come in here & purposely may try to stir the pot becauz they know it is easy to ilicit a response from you...if you come back at them with Courtesy...they will then feel silly & 'hopefully' go away...

Cap-I didn't even think of the whole time-zone thing. It's great to see your picks up early-even if their are no write-ups. You've been the best this year in hoops, and that's coming from somebody that's been here at the start of the season. Keep doing what you can, I know I appreciate it! It's been a great year, sometimes it's like a soap opers in here, but I know some are focussed on the cash. Which is really why we are here. Great job as So are the Days of Our Lives. I used to schedule my classes around that freakin show in college.

Thanks-I really like the way West Virginia is playing now. Good Luck on Hawaii

CC,

Co-Cap,

I always enjoy reading your posts, whether I stroke them, fade them, or just sit them out. You put much thought into your picks, and you are always a gentleman (except when someone talks trash on the Golden Warriors!).

co captain,

Thanks for the hard work last night. It was appreciated even when things didn't go the way you thought. I know you are one of the best and will start new streak up starting tonight. Once again, congrats on one of the best streaks this college hoops season! Best of luck.

YOU ARE RIGHT. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ANSWER TO ANYONE HERE. YOU HELPED FOR FREE AND ASKED NOTHING IN RETURN.

I POST SOME OF MY PLAYS HERE FOR FREE AND IF SOMEONE WANTS THEM ALL, THEIR RATINGS, AND GET THEM EARLY. WELL, THEY PAY.........

YOU HAVE TAKEN MANEY HOURS THIS YEAR.
THANKS!!!!!!!!!

BIG UP FROM CHUCK LUCK

Co Captain,

You do a great job with your handicapping. You shouldn't let people get you down. I was upset yesterday with this guy Falco who was doing the same thing to me as some of the things you are dealing with. Ignore them and take the high road as you are too good to lower yourself to their standards. You are only giving them the reaction they wanted out of you. You have nothing to prove to anyone as those of us who follow you know what kind of hard work you put in. Unfortunately tonight's play didn't work out as not all of our selection will. It is the consistency over the long run that has gotten you the respect here at this forum not the one game win. Best of luck and hope the rest of your holidays goes well.

Panther, I have been with you from day 1! Also, for anyone that cares, former poster, Co-Captain, who was run off by some jealous people, has absolutely slayed the man the last month. That is a loss for the forum. Call me a CC shill, but he is as good as ANYONE out there. And I know from what I speak. I am NOT a newbie. I put panther in that category. Some people, no matter what, look a gift horse in the mouth. That is a shame. LT

I second that FawvDog; Co-Captain you rock...I have made more money off your plays this season than I ever thought possible. Thanks for everything you've done for this forum; it's a better place because your here. PS - Where do you live in Hawaii? I come over every November for business and it would be really cool to hook up and watch some FOOTBALL!! and do some of this or this. I'm normally in the Honolulu area for a couple days and over in Hilo a couple days. Good luck with all your future endeavors

Co-Captain, I will support you in whatever you do. You and a few others did help me make a little cheese in the baskets. I have a decent opinion on college football but we can always use other opinions from successful people. You have always conducted yourself in a gentlemanly and curteous manner. I pay for all of The Gold Sheet publications that have taught me so much over the years so if you can make a little bit of money by helping others with your insights then go for it. I really feel like that we have become friends and I wish you the best of luck in whatever you do. I have your email and you have mine so lets keep in touch. LT

Captain:

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to you for all that you have selflessly contributed to these forums on a daily basis. The amount of time and effort that you have freely contributed to the RX should be appreciated by all. Wins and losses will come and go, but your generosity of giving is beyond reproach and can never be questioned.

Your thread today is very consistent with the events this oldman recalls when the RX went down one Saturday and you began to try and find a way to help your fellow posters receive your plays. And I recall SportsSavant assisting you in trying to learn how to provide your e-mail address out of a thread topic and into the bottom bar. I too would not know how to do this. It was an honest attempt at trying to help your fellow posters once again.

Further, I completely understand that feeling of helping fellow posters, particularly as they respond back to you that you have helped them or saved them from making a bad choice. It is intoxicating and does make one feel good and I believe you when you say that you fed off that positive feedback because I feel the same way as well. Nothing greater then hearing from a fellow poster who you have helped.

As for whether or not you decide to accept an opportunity to either be part of a group service or go out on your own, I support your right to make that choice. If one has a product or service to sell that others may be interested in purchasing, then that person should have every right to try and see if their product or service is marketable. After all this country was built by entrepreneurs who started with nothing but an idea and together, over time, have built this country into what it is today, although not perfect by any means, still globally respected for it's industrial accomplishments.

Should you decide to try this new endeavor, I want to wish you all the best and hope for your success. As this oldman does at times, I would only provide you with a word of caution that being involved in the service industry or going it alone should not be underestimated. Trust me when I tell you that it will not be easy to be successful in that business but with proper dedication, determination and honesty, one can make a good living if they are patient and have a long view to the future. Success will not happen overnight as nothing worthwhile comes easy.

Captain, whatever you decide to do, this oldman will support both your decision and your right to make that decision. Regardless, as I stated at the beginning of this reply, your time, effort, energy and all that you have provided selflessly to this forum should be appreciated by your fellow members, posters and viewers.

Wishing you the very best in making your decision..........Ted
