Home teams a hot-bet ATS on hardwood Sunday

Home teams posted a record of 6-1 against the spread in Sunday's NBA schedule, cashing in at a mark of 85.71 percent on the day.

The only visitor to cover the spread was the New Orleans Pelicans, who posted a 104-87 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers as 2.5-point visiting favorites.

Still a sub-.500 venture on the season, the home team is just 137-158-5 (46.44 percent) season-to-date.

Pistons skid hits 12 games, but manage to cover

The Detroit Pistons dropped their 12th consecutive game losing 96-94 to Oklahoma City Sunday night, but did manage to cover the spread for the first time in six games.

The Pistons used a fourth quarter run to make the game close and cover as 10-point home dogs. Despite the cover the Pistons are still the NBA's worst bet at 6-15 ATS.

Nets' Lopez out at least a week with lower back strain

The Brooklyn Nets announced that center Brook Lopez underwent an MRI that revealed a lower back strain. He’s out at least a week, at which time he will be re-evaluated. It’s been a rough few years for Lopez, health-wise.

Suns' PG Isaiah Thomas, questionable Tuesday

Thomas has missed the last seven games due to an ankle injury and is questionable to return Tuesday against the Heat.

Celtics lose, but cover fifth straight game

The Boston Celtics may have dropped a tough 133-132 double overtime decision to the Washington Wizards, but easily covered the spread for the fifth straight game.

The Celtics entered the game as 8.5-point underdogs after upsetting the Wizards as 9-point dogs in Boston the night before 101-93.

Boston is now 10-9 against the spread on the season, while Washington falls to 9-11 ATS.

Warriors a solid bet during 13 game win streak

The Golden State Warriors extended their winning streak to 13 games with a 102-86 thumping of Minnesota and bettors have been cashing tickets with regularity during the run.

Golden State have gone 9-4 against the spread during the win streak, making the Warriors the best bet ATS in the Association this season at 14-6.

The Warriors are back at it Wednesday in a big Western Conference showdown with the Houston Rockets (11-9 ATS).

Armadillo: Wednesday's six-pack

-- Cavaliers 105, Raptors 101-- Toronto had won 39 games in a row when they led after three quarters.

-- Trailblazers 98, Pistons 86-- Detroit is now an unhealthy 3-19.

-- Braves signed free agent 2B Alberto Callaspo, who isn't any good but it seems like the A's lose a player every day.

-- Pirates re-signed Francisco Liriano for three years, $39M. Good move.

-- Villanova 73, Illinois 59-- Game in NYC was 50-all at one point.

-- Louisville 94, Indiana 74-- Cardinals pulled away once Indiana stopped hitting 3's.

Late Night Update-- Jon Lester gets $155M from the Cubs, for six years.

**********

Armadillo: Wednesday's List of 13: Doing some thinking out loud.......

13) I’m guessing Tuesday was a good day to be a White Sox season ticket salesman, with team adding Samardzija/Robertson. Pale Hose are making a run at the playoffs this coming season.

12) Guy in Las Vegas hit a $15 12-team parlay this week that paid him just under $45,000; his last game was Atlanta +12.5. Imagine sitting there with him when the Falcons were down 31-7 at the half?

Had to be kind of exciting in those last few minutes. Would’ve sucked to go 11 for 12 and wind up with bupkus. (Hope he hedged the bet, at least)

11) Cam Newton was in a car accident Tuesday afternoon near Panthers’ stadium; he has a couple breaks in his lower back, is in the hospital and not expected to play Sunday against Tampa Bay. Derek Anderson is the Panthers' backup QB.

10) Not only was it a dismal December day Tuesday, with freezing rain/sleet/icy roads, but I looked at mlbdepthcharts.com and saw they had Ike Davis batting 5th in the A’s prospective lineup for next season. Bleeping fifth. Oy.

9) One of unspoken benefits of the college football playoff: no one talks about the Heisman Trophy anymore; thank the Lord. Before this year, they’d start talking about it in September. Team stuff is always more interesting than individual stuff.

8) There is an NBA ref named Ben Taylor who is only 29 years old; he worked the intense Phoenix-Clipper game Monday night. 29 seems young to be an NBA ref.

7) I don’t give a rat’s ass about the royal family; they could be very nice people for all I know, but what have they done? What do they do? They’re rich/famous for no reason, like reality TV stars. Please go away.

6) UNLV hired a high school coach as its new football coach; Tony Sanchez from Bishop Gorman in Vegas. Keep in mind that Art Briles, Gus Malzahn and Hugh Freeze were all high school coaches at one time, and they’re doing pretty well now. Sanchez needs to recruit some of his Gorman players to make UNLV relevant on the gridiron, one of whom is Cordell Broadus, Snoop Dawg’s son.

5) Tennessee replaced UAB with Bowling Green on next year’s football schedule; UAB dropped football, rifle and bowling last week, for $$$ reasons.

4) Which begs the question, how much does it cost to fund a freakin’ bowling team? Does the bowling coach fly to the northeast to recruit a kid out of a duckpin league in Boston? Does he take a private jet to fly cross country to Vegas to find a kid in Rock ‘n Bowl at Red Rock Casino? Seriously, dropping bowling just seems un-American.

3) NFL record for most receiving yards in a game is Flipper Anderson’s 336, set on a Sunday night in 1989 against the Saints; was looking at some highlights from that season and it turns out when Anderson caught the winning TD in overtime in a playoff game against the Giants later in that ’89 season, the ref was Bob McElwee, who ten years later was also the ref when the Rams won Super Bowl XXXIV, the greatest sporting event ever played.

Good man, Bob McElwee.

2) Green Bay Packers are 9-0 on grass, 1-3 on artificial turf, the one win by a FG in Minnesota. Packers play on a short week in Buffalo this week. On turf. Hmmmm

1) RIP actor Ken Weatherwax, 59, who as a child played Puggsley Addams on the Addams Family, one of my favorite shows as a kid. 59 is too young to die, for sure. He’s probably in heaven today blowing up toy trains with Uncle Fester. RIP, sir.

See spot. See spot bet: This week's best spot bet opportunities

Lookahead spot

Northern Iowa has jumped out to an 8-0 (3-3 ATS) start to the season, earning the No. 24 spot in the national polls this week. The Panthers put that ranking to the test this coming weekend with a road game against another mid-major power - the VCU Rams – and face rival Iowa on a neutral court the weekend before Christmas.

However, lurking Wednesday is a climb up the Rocky Mountains to play the Denver Pioneers. Northern Iowa, which has failed to cover in its last two games as a heavy favorite, not only runs the risk of a looking past the Pioneers but could hit the wall in the thin air of Magness Arena. Denver runs an active Princeton offense with plenty of movement and cuts and is a tough out in its own gym, covering the spread in 11 of its last 13 home games against teams with winning records.

Letdown spot

The Oklahoma City Thunder have the band back together. Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant have returned from early-season injuries, drastically shifting the dynamic of a team that depended on defense to make up for its fallen stars in the first two months of the schedule. The Thunder can make a big statement regarding their place in the NBA title picture against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers Thursday.

Oklahoma City will watch the intensity meter go from peak to plop immediately following that showdown with the Cavs. The Thunder will hop on a plane and head to frozen Minnesota that night with the Timberwolves playing hosts Friday. Oklahoma City has been a bad bet on the road – even without this type of letdown spot - bringing a 2-8-1 ATS mark to Minnesota.

Schedule spot

The defending Stanley Cup champs were just starting to sort things out with three wins in their last five games before heading East on an extended road trip, dropping the puck in Buffalo Tuesday. Los Angeles leaves the sun and surf of California for the Canadian cold, with stops in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto – a string of three road games in four days.

The Kings are a crappy 3-4-2-2 outside of the Staples Center and take on the Sens (Thursday), Habs (Friday), and Leafs (Sunday), who boast a combined 25-13-1-3 record on home ice. Los Angeles has given up just 25 total goals in 16 home games, but has watched 31 pucks find the back of the net in just 11 road outings. And the Kings’ power play is among the lowest in the league away from home, with an 11.8 PP percentage. Those three Canadian foes all have home power play success rates of 21.5 or higher.

Game of the Day: Rockets at Warriors
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Houston Rockets at Golden State Warriors (OFF, OFF)

The Golden State Warriors have won a franchise-record 13 straight games but are just beginning the rough part of their schedule. The Warriors will try to make it 14 in a row when they face the team closest to them in the Western Conference in the visiting Houston Rockets. Both Golden State and the Rockets have made their way to the top of the standings by improving on the defensive end, and Wednesday’s game pits two of the top three defenses in the league.

The Warriors are limiting opponents to an NBA-best 40.9 percent from the field and overcame their own shooting woes to post a 102-86 victory in Minnesota on Monday by holding the Timberwolves to 36 percent. Houston is leaning on its defense as its roster battles a series of injuries, and Dwight Howard is expected to miss his 10th straight game with a knee injury. Patrick Beverley returned from a six-game absence on Saturday and keyed a defensive effort that held the Phoenix Suns to 36.6 percent in a 100-95 win.

TV: 10:30 p.m. ET, ROOT (Houston), CSN Bay Area (Golden State)

INJURY REPORT: Rockets - G James Harden (Questionable, back), G Francisco Garcia (Questionable, leg), C Dwight Howard (Doubtful, knee). Warriors - C Andrew Bogut (Questionable, knee), F David Lee (Mid December, hamstring).

POWER RANKINGS: Rockets (-10) + Warriors (-13) + home court (-3.0) = Warriors -6

ABOUT THE ROCKETS (16-4 SU, 11-9 ATS, 5-15 O/U): Houston brought Beverley off the bench in his return on Saturday and the defensive standout pestered the Suns backcourt while knocking down five 3-pointers to help make up for an off shooting night from James Harden. “Patrick brings something we don't have and that's a point guard who plays excellent defense, knocks down shots and is a great team player,” Harden told reporters. “It's great to have him back. He brought the energy.” Donatas Motiejunas is getting starting minutes with Terrence Jones on the shelf and is surging with averages of 16 points and eight rebounds in the last four games.

ABOUT THE WARRIORS (18-2 SU, 14-6 ATS, 8-12 O/U): Golden State’s only win against a top-level team during its winning streak came in a 112-102 victory at Chicago on Saturday and the team will finally get a chance against some contenders again with a road trip that includes Dallas and Memphis coming up after the date with the Rockets. The Warriors did knock off a few contenders during a five-game winning streak that started the season, including a 98-87 win at Houston on Nov. 8. Golden State committed 26 turnovers in that meeting but Stephen Curry collected 34 points and 10 rebounds while Andrew Bogut grabbed 18 boards.

TRENDS:

* Under is 5-1 in the last six meetings.
* Road team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings.
* Warriors are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 vs. Western Conference.
* Under is 6-0 in Rockets last six vs. NBA Pacific.

Wednesday's Tip Sheet

December 10, 2014

Clippers (-7, 198 ½) at Pacers – 7:05 PM EST

The Western Conference is stacked at the top, as the Clippers are wrestling with a handful of teams to make a case for the best squad. Los Angeles (15-5) is riding an eight-game winning streak, while coming off a perfect 4-0 homestand capped off by an overtime victory over Phoenix. The Clips have scored at least 100 points during each win in this hot stretch, resulting in a 6-2 mark to the ‘over.’ Los Angeles begins a three-game road swing, as Doc Rivers’ club put together a spectacular 6-1 record on its previous extended away trip last month.

The Pacers (7-14) have struggled since the return of David West to the lineup, dropping five of six games, including Monday’s 108-92 home setback to the Hawks. Indiana is winless in three tries as a home underdog this season, while failing to cover in each of those losses to Memphis, Washington, and Phoenix. Since limiting opponents to less than 100 points in nine of the first 12 games, Frank Vogel’s team has given up triple-digits in seven of the past nine contests.

Nets at Bulls – 8:05 PM EST

Both these teams are dealing with injuries to key players heading into tonight’s matchup at the United Center. Brooklyn (8-11) will be without shooting guard Joe Johnson for a second straight game, who is sidelined with the flu, while center Brook Lopez is out at least a week with a back injury. The Nets were run out by the Cavaliers on Monday as eight-point underdogs, 110-88, the eighth straight game Brooklyn has been held to 99 points or less. After starting the season at 1-4 on the road, the Nets have quietly won three of the past four away from the Barclays Center.

Chicago (12-8) is back on the court for the first time since Saturday’s home loss to red-hot Golden State, 112-102 as 2 ½-point underdogs to fall to 1-6 ATS at home. Joakim Noah will sit out tonight for the Bulls with an ankle injury, as Chicago owns a 3-6 record in the last nine games without the former University of Florida standout since April 2013. The Bulls took two of three meetings from the Nets last season, while dominating Brooklyn to wrap up their annual Circus Road Trip on November 30 in a 102-84 rout as 2 ½-point away favorites.

Pelicans at Mavericks (-6 ½, 210) – 8:05 PM EST

A Southwest division battle tonight at the American Airlines Center between a pair of teams playing with no rest. New Orleans (10-10) climbed back to the .500 mark after knocking off New York last night, 104-93 as six-point favorites to win for the first time in six tries this season on the front end of a back-to-back. Playing with no rest has benefited the Pelicans, posting a 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS record in this situation, which includes three road victories against the Kings, Lakers, and Jazz.

The Mavericks (16-7) return home following a 114-105 setback at Memphis on Tuesday, as the Grizzlies put away Dallas thanks to a 36-17 third quarter spurt. Dallas hoisted up 40 three-point attempts in the loss, as Dirk Nowitzki misfired on all six of his tries from downtown, while the former MVP shot 4-of-17 from the floor for 11 points. The Mavs have won five of six times this season off a loss, while finishing ‘over’ the total in six consecutive games. Dallas has owned New Orleans recently, winning eight straight meetings, including a 109-104 triumph in the Big Easy on November 1.

Heat at Nuggets – 10:35 PM EST

Miami (10-11) travels to the Pepsi Center tonight seeking consecutive wins for the first time since before Thanksgiving. The Heat rallied past the Suns last night, 103-97 as 4 ½-point underdogs, as Chris Bosh poured in 34 points to snap a four-game skid. Miami has performed well with no rest, going 4-2 in this situation, including outright road underdog wins at Dallas and Brooklyn. In the last two visits to Denver, the Heat have come out with low-scoring victories, but the Nuggets have covered seven of the past eight meetings in this series.

Denver (9-12) returns home from a winless three-game road swing at Washington, Atlanta, and Toronto. The Nuggets managed a cover in an overtime loss to the Raptors on Monday following consecutive double-digits defeats to the Wizards and Hawks. Brian Shaw’s team had won three straight home games before blowing a late 14-point lead to the Blazers in a two-point defeat prior to this disastrous road trip.

Rockets at Warriors – 10:35 PM EST

Two of the hottest teams in the Western Conference meet up at Oracle Arena, as Golden State looks for its 14th consecutive victory tonight. The Warriors (18-2) return to the Bay Area after a pair of road wins at Chicago and Minnesota, while Steve Kerr’s squad goes back on the road for three key Western Conference contests starting Saturday at Dallas. During this 13-game winning streak, the Warriors have covered nine times, while winning seven of eight home contests this season.

The Rockets (16-4) continue to play without All-Star center Dwight Howard, who has missed the last nine games with a knee injury. Houston has managed seven wins in this stretch, but have more injury concerns as top scorer James Harden is questionable tonight with back spasms. The Rockets have won four straight games, while being off since Saturday’s home underdog victory over Phoenix. Kevin McHale’s club plays with revenge tonight after falling to the Warriors, 98-87 at the Toyota Center last month as 3 ½-point underdogs.

Bogut could miss time with tendinitis

December 9, 2014

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Dwight Howard might not be the only franchise center who sits out when the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors meet Wednesday night.

Warriors center Andrew Bogut is questionable to play because of right knee tendinitis. He left Monday night's 102-86 win in Minnesota - the Warriors' 13th in a row - early in the first quarter with the injury.

Bogut and coach Steve Kerr said after the game that they didn't think the tendinitis was anything serious. But any time Bogut is banged up is cause for concern.

The 7-footer from Australia is the anchor of Golden State's smothering defense, and his seasons have been often derailed by injuries, including last spring when a fractured rib kept him from playing in the first-round playoff loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Bogut has played in every game this season, averaging 7.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, three assists and 2.2 blocks.

The Warriors, who are an NBA-best 18-2, also said power forward David Lee remains out with a strained left hamstring. Lee has appeared in just one game this season.

Houston has been hampered by injuries for a few weeks now.

The Rockets said Tuesday that Howard (strained right knee) is doubtful to play against the Warriors, and James Harden (back spasms) and Francisco Garcia (strained left hamstring) are questionable. Isaiah Canaan (sprained left ankle), Terrence Jones (nerve inflammation in left leg) and Kostas Papanikolaou (strained right knee) remain out.

Houston (16-4) enters the game winners of four straight and seven of eight.

Harden ailing as Rockets' injuries mount

December 9, 2014

HOUSTON (AP) - Add James Harden to the long list of Houston Rockets dealing with injuries.

Harden is struggling with back spasms and is listed as questionable for Houston's game at NBA-leading Golden State on Wednesday night.

Harden's back problem began in Saturday night's game.

''Still a little tight,'' he said Tuesday. ''Getting better every single day though.''

All-Star center Dwight Howard is improving and practiced with the team on Tuesday, but is doubtful to play against the Warriors. He has missed the last nine games with a strained right knee.

''Dwight went through the majority of what we did which was the first time he's done that since he's been out,'' coach Kevin McHale said. ''So I guess (Wednesday) we'll see how he feels.''

McHale said that Howard has been running and doing work away from the team, but that his return to practice was an encouraging step. Howard is averaging 18.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. Rookie Tarik Black has filled in for him nicely and has helped the Rockets go 7-2 in his absence, including winning their last four. He's averaged more than six points and seven rebounds a game since Howard has been out.

''We're interchanging pieces right now which is kind of weird, but we're getting it done,'' Black said.

The Rockets have dealt with numerous injuries this season, and starting forward Terrence Jones (left leg nerve inflammation), backup point guard Isaiah Canaan (left ankle sprain) and forward Kostas Papanikolaou (right knee strain) are all out indefinitely. Francisco Garcia is questionable for Wednesday's game with a right calf strain.

The Warriors have won 13 in a row and beat the Rockets 98-87 in the first meeting this season. Houston's recent surge has the team leading the Southwest Division entering Tuesday's games.

Harden talked about what the Rockets need to do on Wednesday night.

''We've just going to have to go in there and play our game and do what we've been doing,'' Harden said. ''We had an opportunity to beat them here but just couldn't get our offense going in the fourth quarter. Now I think our offense is a little bit better so it's going to be a great opportunity for us.''

Pistons a terrible bet during 13-game losing streak

The Detroit Pistons dropped their 13 consecutive game Tuesday night, falling 98-86 to the Portland Trail Blazers and if people have been backing the Pistons during this slide, it has not gone well for them.

The Pistons are just 4-9 against the spread during the losing streak, landing them all the way to dead last in the Association when it comes to covering the spread, now sitting at 6-16 ATS for the season.

Thunder get first cover since Durant's return

The Oklahoma City Thunder covered the spread for the first time since Kevin Durant's return by downing the Milwaukee Bucks 114-101 Tuesday night.

The Thunder, who closed as 10-point home favorites, had gone 0-3 against the spread since Durant made his season debut.

Oklahoma City will try to make it two covers in a row Thursday night when they host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Inside the Paint - Thursday

December 10, 2014

Despite starting the season 5-7 straight up and 4-8 against the spread, oddsmakers at Sportsbook.ag never removed Cleveland as the top betting choice (3/1) to win this year’s NBA Finals.

Unlike the NFL where the so-called pundits flip-flop every Monday morning, those following the Association understand that the season is a marathon and it takes time to develop chemistry.

Some may forget that when LeBron James joined Miami in the 2010-11 season, the Heat started the season with a pedestrian 9-8 record. They quietly closed with a 49-16 (.753) record and reached the NBA Finals.
Is it déjà vu for LeBron in Cleveland?

Since the sluggish start, the Lebron and the Cavaliers have ripped off eight straight wins. During this run, they’ve helped bettors with a 5-3 record versus the number.

At 13-7, it might be hard for Cleveland to eclipse its regular season Win Total of 58 ½ set by the oddsmakers but you just never know, especially when you play in the Eastern Conference.

It should be noted all of the Cavaliers' wins during their current eight-game winning streak were against opponents in the East.

Overall, Cleveland is 11-3 versus the East and just 2-4 both SU and ATS against the Western Conference.

The Cavaliers have a chance to improve on that record against the West when it visits Oklahoma City (8-13 SU, 11-10-1 ATS). The Thunder have started out slow due to key injuries but they’re finally healthy and appear to be in solid form heading into the final three quarters of the season.

Since the league’s reigning Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant made his season debut on Dec. 2, the Thunder have gone 3-1. However, be aware that the three victories were against the 76ers, Pistons and Bucks, which tells you that this matchup is a big test for Oklahoma City as well. Durant is averaging just under 30 minutes in the four games but should see extended time for this game.

Oddsmakers opened Oklahoma City as a 2 ½-point home favorite over Cleveland.

Despite not having LeBron on its roster, Cleveland has gone 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS in its last four encounters against Oklahoma City, which includes a 114-104 road victory last season as 15-point underdogs.

Oklahoma City has gone 5-5 SU and 8-2 ATS this season while Cleveland has gone 6-3 SU and 4-5 ATS on the road.

The Cavaliers have been underdogs twice this season and they’ve produced outright wins at Chicago (114-108) on Oct. 31 and at Toronto (105-91) on Dec. 5.

Total bettors should note that Oklahoma City (15-6) and Cleveland (11-7-2) have both leaned to the ‘under’ this season.

The numbers on the Thunder are a tad misleading since their offense was limited early in the season but the Cavaliers are looking solid defensively. During their current winning streak, they’re holding opponents to 91.6 points per game.

Offensively, Cleveland has picked it up as well. In the same eight games, the Cavaliers are averaging 106.3 PPG.

The total on Thursday’s matchup opened 201 and was spiked up to 203.

TNT will provided coverage of this game at 8:05 p.m. ET.

Houston (16-4 SU, 11-9 ATS) at Sacramento (11-11 SU, 13-8-1 ATS)

The TNT double-header concludes on the West Coast at 10:35 p.m. ET as the Kings and Rockets clash from Sleep Train Arena in Northern California. Oddsmakers didn’t post an overnight line on this matchup due to key injuries for both squads.

James Harden (back) is ‘questionable’ and Dwight Howard (knee) is ‘doubtful’ for Houston while the Kings are likely to see DeMarcus Cousins (illness) sit out again.

Houston could be fatigued for this game after playing at Golden State last night. This will be the sixth game this season that the Rockets will be playing on zero days rest. In the first five situations, Houston has produced a solid 4-1 record both SU and ATS. Another factor that could have you backing the Rockets on Thursday is their 8-1 record (6-5 ATS) on the road.

Sacramento has been steady at home (6-5 SU, 5-6 ATS) but not having Cousins hurts the team. He’s missed seven games due to viral meningitis and the Kings are 2-5 during this span, three of the losses coming at home.

The Rockets ran past the Kings 102-89 on Nov. 26 as 4 ½-point home favorites. Last season, the pair split the four head-to-head meetings and both teams captured a road victory.

Total Trend

Those of you reading my NFL Total Talk columns know that I like to inform you of seasonal trends that could help your handicapping. With that being said, the national TNT games have created a trend that’s worth noting.

Tuesday, Oct. 28
Dallas 100 San Antonio 101 (Under 203)
Houston 108 L.A. Lakers 90 (Under 207)

Thursday, Oct. 30
New York 95 Cleveland 90 (Under 204)
Oklahoma City 90 L.A. Clippers 93 (Under 205.5)

Thursday, Nov. 6
San Antonio 81 Houston 98 (Under 179)
Dallas 87 Portland 108 (Under 209.5)

Thursday, Nov. 13
Chicago 100 Toronto 93 (Under 196.5)
Brooklyn 99 Golden State 107 (Under 210.5)

Thursday, Nov. 20
L.A. Clippers 110 at Miami 93 (Over 197.5)
Chicago 88 at Sacramento 103 (Under 195.5)

Thursday, Nov. 27
No Games (Thanksgiving)

Thursday, Dec. 4
Cleveland 90 at New York 87 (Under 198)
New Orleans 85 at Golden State (Under 206.5)

Based on the above, you can see that the ‘under’ has gone 11-1 in the first 12 games played on TNT this season. Personally, I’m a believer that all things will eventually balance out but I would still handicap the games based on matchups and keep this trend in your back pocket.
