Wasn't fired (wink,wink).

Resigned for personal reasons. Resign or be fired.

He was actually in my opinion a good man. Ironic that you should criticize him. Oh yeah he was appointed by a Republican OOooooOOOo. Don't you realize that is only meant to give guys like Patriot the illusion of having a choice.

that was very noble of tenet to take the heat for his president. he seems like a very stand up guy and will have deep pockets after he writes his book.

hmm, maybe he is the kinda guy we need to open up an offshore book in panama or another country where they require you to post up a bond to guarantee player desposits in case of default.

it would be great as journeyman could have a sitdown with him to find out the real facts, and cocaptain could send him referrals to guarantee the profitability of the book

heck as long as im on a roll, he could come in an offer a free 5000 account if you can correctly guess who will be leading after each quarter and by how many, the number of foul shots missed by shaquille in the final 2 minutes of the game, how many cheap fouls will be called so kobe can go to the line, and whether tayshaun prince will annouce to the world that he enjoys the company of both men and women when not on the court during the post game press conference. heck im sure he would be a nice guy and offer 50 bucks to the person who comes closest and only require a 10 time rollover before withdrawal

well im off to the store as i just noticed the terror alert has just been elevated and i need to get some bread and water and start digging my shelter. they wouldnt be messing with the terror alerts just to scare me would they. naahhhh, not a stand up guy like king george.

see ya

I would just like to say that I called this one way ahead of the curve, having declared Tenet's political career voluntarily terminated almost a year ago. That's the bad thing about falling on your sword, George -- you can't keep walking around like nothing happened afterwards. Not for too long.

Tenent when asked by the war planners if this WMD thing is for sure...Tenants reply..."its a slam dunk!"

Thas more like tripping on your sword.

People bitch about Bush doing the right thing when making mistakes...well here you go.
Economy is now off the table too.
Which is easy to tell because the main stream media dosen't breathe a word of it.

Of course numerous CIA reports also made the case that there was no evidence ...

but the alcoholic war-evader covered his ears and eyes for those.

He heard what he demanded to hear & refused to consider anything to the contrary.

Tenet's resignation should be followed by the resignation and self-turnover to authorities of Bush, Wolfowitz, Pearl & Cheney (and arguably Rice).

SLander when you ask the CIA if there is WMD...and he says its a "slam dunk" you would be negligent if you did not listen to him.

Would you be negligent if you ignored CIA advice and proceded to boast to the world that you had "evidence" of Iraq attempting to obtain enriched uranium in an effort to build nuclear weapons?

Oh, silly me, the era of "accountability" only applies to those not in the administration that professes the era.

He is the only person of this administration that I had any faith in to be quite honest. He was a nice guy who actually is not an insider piece of crap type. Just a regular guy who worked hard to get where he is. Unlike the rest of the administration.
