Spreadsheet discussion

Ace,

Why don't you start a separate thread that you can use to field questions about how the spreadsheet works and to answer other inquiries about discrepancies between your numbers and the numbers of others? I come to this thread to get info on your picks and that is it....... Ever since the mass confusion started I have to sort through piles of questions and otherwise useless discussion. :WTF: I'm sure others are getting the same impression and I'd just like to make the suggestion that you start a separate thread to field questions about the system and leave the current thread for simply submitting your picks and fielding all the applause when you get them right!! :aktion033

Thanks!

but the "value" in the line-off means that you want to determine how far off the odds-maker is from the actual "strength" of the team. if the wagering influences this number, you wont get an accurate under- or over- value. its hard for me to explain my thoughts.

if an odds-maker really underestimates a strength of a team, you want to be able to see that in his odds. but if the public is "exploiting" this estimate, it influences the line and the "under estimation" becomes less obvious. damn, it makes sense in my head but i cant explain it!!! AARRGGHHH LOL
