Arsenal – Celta de Vigo

Celta de Vigo lost on the weekend at home against Espanyol with 1-5. Arsenal won in the Cup against Portsmouth easily 5-1. Arsenal at home have a stellar 11-2-0. Celta have lost their last 3 fixtures in the Spanish league and they are currently in a very poor form.

Arsenal are in white hot form at the moment. In my opinion they are playing soccer of a standard that could win the Champions League.

However in my mind there are four big questions remaining about them being able to mount a succesful challenge.

1) Can they sustain the current level of play for an extended period. They are still unbeaten in the premiership, surely they can't continue for a full season without a "dip" in form.

2) Can they avoid injuries to key players e.g.Henry

3) Is the goalkeeper suspect. He caused them some losses early in the champions league in Kiev and Moscow.

4) Can the club overcome the psychological factor of never having competed sucessfully in Europes premier competition.
