The public will be betting on the Bengals hand over fist which always causes me to consider the other side. Fading the public is never a bad idea and I think it’s the right decision in this spot.
Although the Bengals are on a five-game winning streak and the Bucs looked miserable in their 35-7 thrashing by the 49ers last week, we need to consider that this is a pivotal game for Tampa Bay if they want to stay atop the NFC South.
But more to the point, the Bengals are injured all over the roster. Joe Burrow is dealing with an elbow injury while Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd are banged up as well. This is a great spot to bet a legendary quarterback, at home, with north of three points.
