Last week the Patriots looked anything but the calm, cool, and disciplined group we have seen for two decades under Bill Belichick’s stewardship after a mind-boggling turnover that resulted in the game-winning touchdown for the Raiders with no time left on the clock. Meanwhile, the Bengals were busy beating up on Tom Brady and the Bucs ending in a 34-23 victory. However, Tampa Bay outgained Cincinnati in that game by nearly 160 combined yards and if it hadn’t been for five turnovers, the Bengals would have lost that game handily. The Patriots have the defensive chops to limit big-time receivers, as they did last week when they held Davante Adams to under 30 receiving yards. The Cats will also be looking ahead to a critical showdown with the Bills in their next game which could have them overlooking the Patriots in this one. If it looks like a trap game, it probably is so we will grab the points with the Pats in this one.
