Cincinnati vs Kansas City on 01/29 by Craig_Brown

Patrick Mahomes is practicing with the team which is why we saw this line shift from KC -1 ½ to Cincinnati -1 ½ and back again. Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain in last week’s 27-20 win over the Jaguars but I remain unconvinced that Mahomes is even 70 percent. High ankle sprains don’t mend in a week and the key to Mahomes' success is his amazing ability to throw off the run and move the sticks with his feet if necessary.

If Mahomes’ mobility is compromised then it’s all over because the Bengals have a potent pass rush and the Cincinnati offense is loaded all over the field from Joe Burrow to Joe Mixon to Ja’Marr Chase to Tee Higgins. I’m looking for the Bengals to claim an outright victory just like they did earlier this season when they went to Arrowhead and secured a 27-24 win over the Chiefs.
