At some point one has to bet the Chiefs out of principle -- their being dogged or barely favored at home is ridiculous simply because of the Chiefs. But Bengal backers insist on the importance of Joe Burrow's track record against Patrick Mahomes, although the Chiefs had significant leads in all of their losses to Cincinnati. While Mahomes' injury is emphasized, his success in 2019 the week after incurring a similar injury gets forgotten. In addition to being arguably the best pocket-passer in the game, Mahomes has a new benefit that he did not have last year, a high-level running back whose efficiency is a product of his unique blend of power and speed. Defensively, the Chief pass rush will own Cincinnati's beleaguered o-line and disrupt Burrow's rhythm.
