A couple of plays for the forum on the final day of the meet.
Race 2
My pick to win this race is ARE YOU DOWN. He really took to this turf course and I don't see any reason he shouldn't do it again. That being said, the price will be too low for me considering he's buried on the rail and will have to negotiate through traffic. So I have to look for a price...what about WORLD TRADE? He's bred to handle turf sprints and it looks like Howard has been pointing him to this race since the comeback. Day has won twice with him already...third time today?
Race 3
Looks like McPeek has a pretty quick filly in DEB'S CHARM. Would like to get upwards of 5-1 considering he's not the strongest trainer with first timers, though.
Race 5
POYDRAS took a little of my money in her debut but didn't break well and got caught wide. The two works since that effort show me she has some improvement in her and I think she could whip these at a very fat price.
Race 6
I'm not a big fan of Brice Blanc, but NATTITUDE holds the highest beyer in this field and certainly didn't embarrass herself in her first go against winners. All the speed is on the outside here, so I'm hoping she can settle in behind it and sneak up the rail to take the money.
Race 7
I kind of like the fact that ROBBER BARON kept to task without being urged when badly beaten in his debut. Hopefully he's 36-1 again because I'm going to have a couple of bucks on him.
